If you zoom in on your MSFS pic, the imagery looks smudged / blurry and a lot worse than in your P3D pic. Clearly the MSFS LOD issue at altitude is causing the problem, as the Bing photo imagery is generally better than TE. 3 hours ago, Sesquashtoo said: Thanks, you saved me a few saw-bucks...:) I don't think either photo shows the respective sims in a good light. From Orbx's Facebook: Quote The final addition in our range of TrueEarth US regions for P3D is coming soon to OrbxDirect, completing the west coast USA. The writing is on the wall though. The market for photoscenery for VFR flying has collapsed as MSFS generally does it better and for 'free' (no additional ortho product purchases required). FS98....I'm looking for the green triangle mountains....geez. I managed to fix that problem - it was due to another photo scenery suppressing the autogen. It's definitely nowhere near the level of quality in MSFS but it's still much better than default and the region SoCal. I think it's worth the price if intending to fly proper airliners around SoCal in P3D until MSFS becomes the standard for that.

I find that TE North/South were the most 'interesting' TrueEarth regions for me. I wanted to compare both MSFS and P3D/TE at FL320. Both platforms have some sort of LOD issues. But texture are crisper in P3D directly around the aircraft position. P3d will still be my primary platform for at least a year. I only use FTXSCA with MaddogX and MCE with PMDG/FSL Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe
