Live traffic liveries released!

There's a progress update on the official forum. FLAi conversion is well on the way and within a few days, we should all be able to enjoy real life traffic liveries for MSFS built-in live traffic.

The amount of talent out there blows my mind...this really will close off one of those wishlist items for immersion.

It will not change the traffic, just assign the right liveries. MS needs to tune the reliability of traffic (at LAX I sometimes get loads, sometimes none at all), but keep in mind that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, air traffic is at a 21st century low. EDDF for example, one of the busiest hubs in Europe, currently gets 25% of the 2019 traffic.

I dont do 'live traffic' or 'online' VATSIM (or IVAO), however will this impact the standard ingame AI traffic (only) also?  sorry if this is a stupid question.

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

The MSFS offline traffic works much better than the online. It's fairly straightforward to modify the  AIG flightplans using AI Flight Planner for use with the IVAO models. It won't be too much longer before AIG releases its AI Manager for MSFS.

How does live traffic works..?

Let’s say we go to Flightradar24 and se a bounch of planes in the air..

How does Flightradar24 know it’s actual position..? ADSB Out..? And then that is uploaded to a common server where Radarbox, Flightradar24 or Flightaware download the info..?

Does MSFS2020 have access to that server..? Or Microsoft has its own server..? Why it doesn’t show the 100% of traffic in MSFS2020.??

There isn't a common server. I feed Flightaware and ADSBExchange from my ADSB receiver. I could feed Flightradar24 too, but each one is fed separately and so it impacts upstream bandwidth. Besides which I think FR24 have more than enough feeders in my area.
