I wish there was a way to use this for AI traffic.

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

Can I simply put the file catalog in the community folder (like instructed) and not do anything with the Ivao and python thing? 😃 I dont fly on Ivao, and would just like for my AI traffic to have more realistic liveries.

There's been further development of this. Go to the thread on the official MSFS forum (linked in OP) and scroll down to post 87. No need to do the Python thing any longer.

I canot get this to work with default traffic.

## Steps
0. Install the latest version of python. Make sure you enable the setting in the wizard to update the PATH. DONE
1. Downoad the package from [IVAO](https://www.ivao.aero/softdev/beta/altitudebeta.asp) (you may need to register for an account).
2. Follow instructions to install. DONE
3. Try to make a backup of the .zip package once download is complete. If not, make a backup of the ivao_x-sl folder located inside your community folder. (make sure backup is outside of your community directory. DONE
4. Place the python script inside `Community\ivao_x-csl\SimObjects\Airplanes` folder. DONE SEE BLUE BELOW
5. Double click on the python file or open Powershell and run `python C:\Users\$USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\ivao_x-csl\SimObjects\Airplanes` not this may be different for steam users and replace *$USERNAME* with your actualy username on pc.

I see no Powershell in there to run.

Also do you place the file msfs-script-bucket-master or just the PY file inside it. I tried both but just see the standard traffic at EGLL.

Also I did get an ask to let it have assess to internet.

What setting within MSFS do you have to have to make this come to life with out flying on-line please.

EDIT, I ran power shell  a msdos window came up and then a MS app to install python version 3.8, what all that about?

I don't get what I have to do. I understand that it are the IVAO models for use of the Real Life traffic?

What is the "AI Traffic Liveries mod" he is talking about? the one on nexus?

In the official thread, there is now an instruction on how to disable MSFS's generic traffic models (easy). This way, every plane is IVAO, also the moving traffic. Bring it on!

I'm interested in this, but waiting for the dust to settle on the installation instructions.
