They said that the optimization they'll be performing when creating the X-Box version will carry over to the PC version, in fact the PC version will get those optimizations before the X-Box version.

Just once more I see that they ARE listeining. That they ARE willing to learn and work through bugs and added features with US all.

The only thing they could do better is having the community managers, best on their forum, who actively react to feedback to reassure people that they ARE being heard and that things WILL get looked into, and that work on it IS progressing.

That would take the steam out of the pot.

I missed that part.  Did they say pre-release testing only for the VR release only, or will they continue pre-release testing for patches after VR release as well?

for i can see so far they talked about testing in general for other things they cant catch not just VR related . makes sence .

Pre-release testing for all kinds of patches as well, they just need time to get the system from the Alpha/Beta testing back on track.

This is actually a pretty good session. I think they made a believer out of me, useful info.

nice that they mention the CPU mainthread limitation, hopefully they can move more work/jobs to the other cores

The US World Update is going to have 'crazy good' imagery quality. They won't say the resolution, but it's amazing.

They were talking about the digital elevation map (the terrain mesh), not the textures.

Should make a lot of people happy in Alaska

He was not talking about crazy good "image quality". He was talking about crazy good elevation data quality.

Oops my bad.

So relieved that they are going to more fully develop the Garmin suite. That is a huge win for not only default airplanes, but for 3rd parties as well.
