Which aircraft has the least bugs?

Featured Replies

For those who have tried most or all of the default aircraft.  Which aircraft seem the least bugged?

I have flown the C152 (community improved), C172 (both), G36 (community improved), and the Cubs, all without any significant problems that affected my flights.

I have flown the Diamonds, the Pipistrel, and the SR22 a bit as well and nothing really stood out either.  I am not on about missing features here.

The liners and maybe the King Air aren't the best at the moment, but the community A320 Neo is getting there.  In just six weeks it has really moved on.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Apart of that one 😄, I find the C172 and the Diamond DA62 very reliable by all means.

😆😆😆 True

The TBM 930 is - apart from a few little oddities - rock solid and because it has in addition a fully modeled cabin, provides an immersive expercience. Plus, you can flight it - mostly - by tne numbers.

as  far as the airliner

I managed to fly back forth between Houston and Dallas without CTD on the A320 Neo. But crashed all the time when I flew from Houston to Dallas (DFW) on the 787. I tried multiple times.. no luck

I am yet to try the 747 on the same route.

The 152, 172, SR-22, TBM and the Diamond family have all been fairly good and enjoyable to fly.

The 787 provides me with CTDs, mostly as I approach my arrival airport(s).  Quite frustrating.  The Pitt is an uncontrollable mess for me.  Haven't really tried the others much, as of yet.

Exactly right when I am positioned to hit the GS, It CTDs

So it can't be my system. Thanks for confirming..

I am now trying the 747 from Houston to DFW. Lets see.

Other than that, the Airliners would get me going until PMDG completes their development. For default aircrafts these airliners are fairly good. If they fix the few nigly VNAV issues, they could suffice for most simmers who don't want to spend a lot of money.

I am now thinking of dismantling my home cockpit with P3Dv4.0  PC and cannibalizing's the parts. I am using a new i9-10900k build system with a DP-HDMI to my living room 65" Samsung TV for the MSFS and an old Sidewinder Joystick..

Jet wise i would say the two community mods for the A320 and the CJ4. The 747 is unreliable, lots of pitching issues with the autopilot as well.

Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
