Installing this caused my internet search history to contain a lot of porno sites.  Well...  That's what I told the wife!  🙄

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Hello,

It does work. No malware (malwarebytes) no virus (W defender)  .... no porn sites in my history ...
Steam Edition. Launch time : 1'10" to main screen.(from NVMe M.2 Samsung 970 EVO Plus)
I get no message from steam connecting/checking for updates, before starting Fs2020.

Thank you for sharing.

Confirmed as clean by ESET as well, which I really trust. 👍   But I can't actually try this until I get home tonight. (I'm not stupid - I downloaded it to the work sever first! 😁)

One concern, as the Colonel as mentioned, if it does skip the 'checking for updates' part (windows store version as well as steam), then it might not let MSFS update.

I am half expecting an update tonight based on the amount of MSFS V1.9.4 dependent downloads that are building up in the marketplace. 🙂

Ironically, as Asobo said it would be quick and easy to do, the fix to skip 'press any key' may actually be included anyway.

Not sure about letting some unknown .exe flit about in my OS.

Think I'll sit on the sidelines on this one. At least for a couple of days before trying. See what those here and on the FS forum make of it.

Can someone smarter than me please explain why the hell would ASOBO add a press any key to continue?

Haven't they heard the old saying that time is money?

Having said all that, I'll wait until I have confirmation that the mod works with the MSFS store version before I try it. Looking forward to more feedback!

I even tried the remove the menu mod and I'm so glad I did.

So your Xbox controller is recognized?

Is this a question or an answer?

MSFS

It took me more keys to post about it than how many key presses I have to make in a over month in order to skip past this part of the loading process... I thought they were making a change in an upcoming patch to change this behavior anyway? (oops I'm up to about 2 months now).
