I have to fly the King Air, early! tomorrow morning, from Madrid up to Paris.

Please ASOBO - don't change that aircraft - because I have it ticked in the box, it flies great .

(An ADF Receiver would be nice - just saying).

Also, I'll be flying over Bordeaux as part of my Flight Plan so I'll be looking out for the Easter Egg.

Note it is traditional in game circles that the answer to any question is "2 weeks". Note NOT 2 weeks from the present time or any specific date -  just "2 weeks".

If you see a reference to "2 weeks" in a lot of game forums it is usually a shorthand way of saying  "who knows, we will have to wait and see" .

 

When is the patch out? - 2 weeks

When will we see the new textures ? - 2 weeks

When do you expect the bugs to be fixed? - 2 weeks

Are there new addons coming? - 2 weeks

CAn we get an update on progress? - 2 weeks

 

Everything is 2 weeks

Well that's quite an improvement from the earliest days (back in the 80s) when everything was "90 days."  😄  I guess our modern tools have shortened development cycles considerably. 😄😄

Hasn't happened to me yet, so far the read-only setting works without issues. Except for the known issues such as occasional CTDs from opening the VFR map... But I revert all changes before installing an update, move all files from the community folder to a backup location, so that MSFS sees a default install when updating. 

I should've mentioned that when posting the solution, to make sure everyone understands the risks involved 😉
