By the way I am bit confused, Jörg mentioned about Sim update which I guess that should come by beginning of November, is this coming patch the update that he was talking about or we will a sim update different to the patch?

Simulation Updates will be major updates to the simulator's core elements, and the plan is to release them every 2-3 months. From the looks of it, Update 5 (27 October) and Update 9 (December?) will be the first ones, since they will be addressing things like the control sensitivity, A320neo issues, cockpit tooltips, the dolphin dance and so on.

I wonder if they continue improve weather, especially surface winds which are off even when ATIS report correct weather

The have "open up system to third party weather" as 'Started/Under Investigation', which is very disappointing - they should be spending resources on making the live weather we were promised better before making any kind of a weather SDK

Erm, it clearly states they are not started yet and are backlogged. I’m not sure how much clearer they can be.

But they still could be on the table and being discussed.  It is not an on off switch until coding starts.

But that’s not what you said. And it clearly states on the update ‘they are not yet started’, and are ‘backlogged’

Of course they’re on the table being discussed, otherwise they wouldn’t be on the list and acknowledged.

Just think back to what we had with FSX and P3D.  A way better situation today with FS2020.

Have a glass of wine.

Exactly - backlog discussion (refinement) is 90% of the process.

Nice work, there's world updates for NA and then Central & South America, but I really hope there will be updates for Asia as well. This region severely needs it more than any other region. Especially South Eastern Asia.

Where did you see the world updates for Central & South America? I only saw the mention of "Around the World: Episode 6: Central & South America & The Caribbean" - but that's got nothing to do with world updates, it's the video series they are publishing one by one on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fG831GaPtw

They literally said theyre improving live weather constantly. So yes.

This reads like quite an improvement in transparency. We can see the priority assignment for bugs and which patch they're likely to be fixed in. Sure there will be lots of users moaning that their particular bugs aren't being fixed quickly enough, but overall seems like we at least know roughly where we are with bugs.

Yes, in Update 4 they are fixing 4 issues that they caused in Update 3 (one of which is a duplicate listing in the roadmap, because apparently it's too hard to consolidate duplicates to avoid pushing other things off the list) and they got rid of "Press Any Key" (which they already had an internal build that got rid of it).

Such great progress

Wish my wife had the same development roadmap like MSFS. Then I would be better prepared for shoe update 4 to 16 and handbag update 9 to 12 🙂. Instead I face  surprising CTDs, Cash to Desktop, moments with my better half

CTD's are your computers problem - not FS2020's.
