Im sorry did you say fantastic, exactly what is fantastic about this update, because i fail to see it.

Exactly!  Just more jibber jabber about the same thing. "we will fix this, we read, we listen" that's all!  Not much new at all.

They haven't even started on the weather, the LOD issue's!! But I understand that most of their customers are people who just grab an xbox controller and fly overt their house, not hard core simmers like us.  Hence they fix what will appeal to the bigger market share.

But at least they read and listen to us...We hope. So lets be optimistic.

Cheers,

There are plenty of trains!  Check the area around KGUP (Gallup NM) where I remember seeing one.  I'm sure you know how to find railroad tracks on charts. 🙂

They made an *entire sim* devoted to trains already. Plethora of trains. Moving on 🙂

When and where did they say that?

Why is it that some of the most discussed issues are not even mentioned?  Logbook issues and editing?  10° issue with flight controls.  Feature to change position airport without returning to Main Menu.  Missing RNAV approaches in the Garmin avionics (or database).  Are they not paying attention to where the energy has been to assemble mods to overcome native issues?

Today I completed two flights and the logbook shows no landings and the destinations are grass strips 25 to 30 miles from the airports I landed at.

They talked about the RNAV missing from Garmin Avionics.  It's in their backlog.

they are.  But unfortunately the zombies will eat them alive for it.  Not sure if openness is the best answer.  Theres a reason most devs maintain strict radio silence, and just release things when they are ready,

Holy sweet Jeebus!  almost 9000 hours of sim time?  I'm not sure whether to congratulate you or stage an intervention.

really? alright.

1. He posted an excel sheet which is his logbook as a response to an earlier point.  that logbook shows a total of 8,886.1 total hours, which is almost 9000 hours.

2. As there are 8,760 hours in a calendar year, that means his total simming time exceeds one year in length, which is a lot of hours even for a RW pilot

from there:

Congratulations:  words expressing praise for an achievement or good wishes on a special occasion.

Intervention:  an occasion on which a person with an addiction or other behavioral problem is confronted by a group of friends or family members in an attempt to persuade them to address the issue.
