October 12, 20205 yr Just putting this out there, after quite a few flights now I think this is the best GA aircraft in the sim right now. I'm loving it. 🙂 Thomas Derbyshire

October 12, 20205 yr Supposedly this doesn't matter as the json file has everything...but it's work a try when interdependencies are required. C Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

My system will not load the W/T G1000 v3.1 This is not a problem with the next Asobo update probably tomorrow and will most like break it anyway. I will check back in a week or so. All I see is the tenth added to the MP and I have lived without that all along anyway. No biggie. Hi Ray, For me the biggest feature of the G1000 mod, is the Track Up option.. so I was just asking if you got that to work, which would indicate that you DO have the mod working.. Bert

Like the instructions say, just use fuel flow and rpms as if the gauge isn't there. In most planes, I just lean until the RPMs start to drop and then rich it back to max RPM. The instructions mention how there's some things with mixture that it sounds like Asobo need to fix. I hate to keep dragging robert's thread off topic further, but the EGT display on the Working Title G1000 does indeed work (for the G36 at least, maybe not for other aircraft) and the value changes in the expected way as you adjust the mixture. It's true that the bar graph above the number is for aesthetic purposes only at this point as there is only 1 EGT number tracked in the sim, so they did some movie magic behind the scenes to create 6 believable bars above the one number. October 12, 20205 yr Bert, it appears that nothing in the mod is working for me. Where do I find the TrackUp selection. I have been using the G3000 mod and it has North Up, Track Up and some other Up that all work in the TBM. I removed all my mods from my Community Folder except the Airports and Scenery mods. This is a tough cookie to crack. Regards, Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
October 12, 20205 yr I have managed to get my hand on the detailed instructions for operation of the Bonanza with the turbonormalized mod but it uses TIT and EGT temps for guidance. This document is 14 pages so it might have some good stuff mixed in with all the real world cautions. Marsman2020 - would you consider asking the Working Title G1000 Mod Team to add TIT temps along with the EGT. I have external Saitek/Logitech gauges in my setup and I have both EGT and TIT temps available but it would be a lot easier for everyone if they were available with the other temps in the G1000 mod. Carenado added TIT to the C182T in the last update but it just the normal green bar that is basically useless for any adjustments. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

But yes, there probably should be a somewhat different tone to the turbo-aspirated sound. I can't deliver 100% authenticity in all aspects yet as there is still a lot to learn about how this sim works, but I will put this on my list for future updates. Thank you for the answer! can i ask you about the mixture using the g1000 mod? In the lean page, testing and using in real time the chart provided in the excellent pdf you wrote, can i asume that the optinal EGT temp is 560 C? Do i need to balance the 6 cilinders bars right? leaning to achieve 560 C provide almost same results of the cruise and power chart. Except at 22000 feet (i dont test higher) that is impossible to achieve 560 C, i can achieve max 533 C aprox and 12,8 galons/hour (same as charts). Is this the correct method? As the MR20 ovation (i know isnt turbo), who has the sweet EGT blue stripe optimal indicator, can you tell me what are in the bonanza the min-max EGT temps to play with? Thank you very much!! The plane is a joy

I'm not familiar enough to know if the engine internal modeling even includes TIT. If it does and there is a SimVar for it, the WT-G1000 allows for custom XML pages per-aircraft for the Engine pages, so I think someone could add it to the G1000 with a new XML file for the Turbo Mod without any changes being needed to the core WT-G1000 code. October 12, 20205 yr TIT is a normal measurement for Turbine Engines so I think it would be modelled to some degree. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

I've based V1 of my mod on the standard G1000 engine readouts as (at the time of V1 publication) but I have used the excellent G1000 mod. I don't have enough time with the G1000 mod to comment but for the upcoming V2 I will pay more attention to temperature details. October 13, 20205 yr Liveries not showing up. Is it because I have other liveries for the G36 installed? Update: found the answer is yes they conflict. Edited October 13, 20205 yr by Todd2 clarify
