I just completed an ATC-guided flight, and in this case 1 departure plus 1 arrival are properly in the log. Well possible you are right. My log has a number of flights with and without indicated departure, but I don't recall which flights were with or without ATC, of course. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this in the future to see if the pattern can be confirmed. Once more thanks for the hint. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this in the future to see if the pattern can be confirmed. Once more thanks for the hint. Kind regards, Michael Please don't assume that's the case. I am so sick of people responding to bug reports with "it works for me, it must be your fault". I always use ATC on the flight (usually with copilot assist on radios, but I've tried handling that start to finish with no consistent change in logging behavior), and I still frequently get flights that do not log properly. Sometimes it works perfectly, other times flights performed in the exact same way do not log correctly. Doesn't matter if I do cold and dark to cold in dark, or active on runway to log off on landing, some flights log and some don't. I am doing a world tour, so I want the logbook to reflect each takeoff and landing airport to complete the circuit. When it fails to log, I have to redo the flight (since it is obviously way to much trouble to provide a logbook editor). I've done the exact same 3.5 hour flight that did not log correctly three times, with the same settings and procedures. The first time (pre 1.95 update) it stopped logging about 3 hours in without a landing in the vcnty of an airport in the area. The second time (after a successful post patch logged test flight) it registered a 15 minute flight with another vcnty arrival with no landing. The third time, nothing changed, logged airport to airport with 1 takeoff and 1 landing. There is no way for me to know what will log and what won't. There is no way to edit the logbook. This is frustrating beyond belief, but don't worry, some people don't have this problem. I love this sim, and the experience it provides, but problems like this still suck, as do people that pretend it doesn't exist. If I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't have more than 110 flight hours logged. Unfortunately it should likely have logged more than 160 hours at this point. No, I am not giving up on Flight Simulator, but I do wish they would fix basic things. edit... BTW, I have exactly *1* mod, the FlyByWire A32NX, that I keep updated. The logging inconsistency I've noted has occurred regardless of aircraft used. Did you report to Zendesk? I did already time ago... Even if there's a strict correlation between ATC usage and departure/arrival entries I feel all flights should be proerly logged, independend of ATC, C&D or whatnot. It has improved, though, so something has changed. But definitely still not implemented to the level of the launch version. I'm curious to know if it's the same when running on Geforce GPUs as AMD ones. I have a GTX 1070. I wondered if it was the NVIDIA driver at fault, but I'm sure another game I played recently with TAA looked as super smooth as usual.

TAA does work (admittedly not as good as at release - and Asobo are looking at it) is just that the in-sim sharpening effect is clashing with it. I turned of sharpening in the user config file. If you need a bit of sharpening back and have an NVidia card, you can use their experience filters - sharpening at 50% works good for me at 1440 (2k). 👍 Not sure what the 'ignore film grain' setting does yet.
