October 16, 20205 yr Hi Ian, Really pleased for you. The results seen fantastic. I had to send my PC back the mobo was faulty, only let 3 devices could be plugged in. So they changed it for a Asus board and its just got delivered at home so look forward to getting home tonight. I hope I am close to your performance as I run 1080 and will not run full ultra even though I could 🙂 I also will lock FPS but think i will stick to 30. Really happy for you, you have the best RTX out there and it will be a very long time before it will be eclipsed. Enjoy! Edited October 16, 20205 yr by Nyxx David Murden. I actually “only” paid £1165.83 (exc vat) for my 3090 as I paid for it through company. So, for me, it’s a bargain.

For company use only then I take it, or the tax man will be chasing those benefits in kind! 😄 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). October 16, 20205 yr Do you, by any chance, have VR? I`m pretty sure there´s where the 3090 will shine (not saying it doesn´t now but I think you´ll see a significant improvement with DX12 and DLSS) Cheers Carlos NLR Motion Platform V3, Intel Core i9-9900K OC @ 5Ghz, Gigabyte Gaming OC 11GB RTX 2080ti, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra. October 16, 20205 yr Fantastic results, making me feel even more frustrated as there is no 3090 available anywhere in US and there is no hope in sight. Nvidia really screwed up a big time on supply. 9950X3D / 64GB / RTX5090 / Pimax Crystal Light / Win11

October 16, 20205 yr I know this is a hypothetical - but I'm holding out for the 3090 and want to pair with an ultra-wide. (I have 3 screens now and used to run SLI and P3D, but my system isn't powerful enough to do that with msfs2020). Any thoughts on how you think the two would perform together - 3090 + ultrawide and any preferences on ultra-wides that are currently out in the market?

Any thoughts on how you think the two would perform together - 3090 + ultrawide and any preferences on ultra-wides that are currently out in the market? I currently use the 3090 with an LG ultra gear ultrawide. So my findings above are respective of that setup. My exact monitor model is:— https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lg-38gl950g-38-3840x1600-nano-ips-144hz-1ms-g-sync-hdr-widescreen-led-backlit-curved-monitor-mo-15g-lg.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwiaX8BRBZEiwAQQxGxzxgVXNF-6uIz5_O3tc85bVP46Ce28UMBPHNElfBrBG1SWF0MtG6_hoCCScQAvD_BwE
October 16, 20205 yr Author Just now, caneman said: Outstanding. So you'd buy the same monitor again as well? I’d probably choose one with HDR1000. 400 is pretty pointless. Other than that, it’s a superb monitor, and G-Sync works amazing with it too. No flickering or anything. (Some G-Sync monitors have bad flickering as the FPS fluctuates).
October 16, 20205 yr I have same specs than you, and no way im getting 60 FPS everywhere. With Airbus or TBM, I get less than 40 fps when approaching. Ultra settings and same resolution as you. CPU is bottlenecking and sometimes GPU usage is about 60% when approaching airport. I wouldnt recommend buying 3090 for this game alone.
