Caseking.de They have often at least the Zotac in stock....I bought the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ventus 3X 24G OC, 24576 MB GDDR6X They had 2 further models next to Zotac for at least 2 hours in Stock. Bought 12:30 local German time, and the Card is already underway. Real quick. I by often there. Very good shop and super services. My RTX Titan I bought also there 4 months ago. If the 3090 performance significant better, my RTX Titan will be sold.... Marcus Regards, Marcus P.

Whether the performance gain for any given scenario is worthwhile from a financial point of view, well that is purely subjective. BTW, unsure about the video posted by De Campo earlier, but that is definietly not what I have seen in many other tests. Yes. indeed. That is what I saw online too. I am running a 32 inch Freesync in 4k an in addition my HP Reverb is also 90hz 2160x2160 x 150% in Steam VR with 2xSSAA within P3D. That is a lot of pixels. Of course I don´t need the 24GB fully. But with MSFS I did get already more than often 18 to 20 GB at High/Ultra settings with Render 100%! MSFS is a VRAM hungry one. Within P3D I do only need a few frametimes more for more smooth VR. I am aware that the price is a very very high one to get that. But that indeed is a personal decision. And if the card delivers more performance as needed or thought.....than I crank some sliders further up (LOD or Autogen Draw distance at High instead of medium for instance). P3D does use raytracing since V5.X and I assume it will need more in future. Volumetric Cloud are also VRAM hungry....I set them to Medium for now. High does kill my VR performance....for now. As it always has bin......software vs hardware where always in battle.......they both grow and battle each other so I am aware that there are always limits....software AND hardware ones Regards, Marcus P.
November 6, 20205 yr Maybe Gerard has some news for us how his experience is with his new RTX 3090 which he got yesterday. He is driving more than 1 screen for his homemade cockpit... @GSalden: How is it going? Are you happy with your new card? Is it performing better? How does it "feel"? Marcus Regards, Marcus P.

That's a lot of hands touching the package and the damage potential goes up and up. Eric
November 6, 20205 yr I would not be surprised to see Nvidia put a 3080 20GB back on the list next year after the AMD release, but if you don`t have a 4K monitor you will not get the benefit. Raymond Fry.

Most sim racing gear comes exclusively from the EU now. In a lot of cases you can get it in 1-2 days and it comes via the same shipping as coming cross country. Only difference is customs. November 7, 20205 yr Author Unfortunately I cannot get NVSurround to work. I have been in contact with the store and they will be back in touch in a few days. Because of the 4K displays it is impossible to stretch one view completere over 2 displays. The last 5” the view stops and a black bar remains. With just 1 4K display it is working fine.
