I'm in the same boat as you, it won't work in the community folder.  I have the Microsoft store purchase of FS2020.

Thank you so much. That did the trick.

Thank you for the hard work that went into this add on. Makes flying in autumn so much more realistic. Great work! 🙂

This worked for me as well.  Thanks for posting this!

After the sim updated, I put back my community stuff, easily turned on/off addons because of the great addon manager we all have access to, added the fall directory (+ a comma, and the tweak for the city file...) and just flew around Columbus Ohio nearing sunset on this fall day, and was just stunned how good everything looked.  A big part of that is the subtle fixed and tweaks from our friends at Asobo ie: The Lincoln Leveque tower is no longer buried in a 400' tree, and has been said in other posts, things do seem to generally look and perform better with this latest patch, still things to fix (Definitely need to figure out a fix for the hard edge elevation drops in some bodies of water....) , but so many of the improvements have come from folks like Bijan (I think the color is perfect with the tweak to the city file) and Rob Young, and the FBW team and countless others.  A huge thankyou to you all.  Not even 3 months in, and am constantly amazed at the improvements.  I could glance out the side window this evening and catch a glimpse of a building of certain little pond, and I knew right where I was - that wasn't ever happening in my P3D days.  BTW, I love that when the data was gathered for the Columbus area,  the Ohio State Fair was going on.... check it out!  quite cool.   Thanks again to all you modders - you are the best!

Haven't tried this yet, but once again the community making it happen!! Very nice. Excited to try it, and see what you come up with for other seasons.

What tweak to the city file is this? Can some kind person elaborate for me please?

Thanks

Martin

Edit: When I add the "," and go to save the file, it wants to save it in my System32 folder! This can't be right, yes/no?

When I close notepad it then asks me if I want to save it in my AppData -Local-Temp folder!

@vbazillio OK, with different persons providing a link this is the only one that has the "," already inserted.

Incidently I now not use Nexus as they are allowing portovers of planes without checking that the person porting over has the right to do it.
