+1.  Great body of work.  Also give you the highest complement for addressing an aspect that no one else seemed interested in developing!  I will enjoy this on a flight from Indiana to Maryland late tomorrow.  I may have to adjust my planned altitude and resulting fuel burn.  Lower, and slower, just to take this in.

It works great, considering the limitations on seasons that is imposed by the sim presently.

To avoid replacing "core" file, isn't it possible to create something in the Community folder as we did for other mod (like the trees size weeks ago) ? By creating a similar community folder structure (as the original Official\OneStore\fs-base\vegetation), we overide core file replacement and we can manage the MSFS update (btw today)

  1. A folder structure Community\vegetation
  2. A simple manifest.json and layout.json

As it was done weeks ago to correct tree size ? For example:

If anyone can make it so it works in community folder please do so. I am not programmer so I don't know how.

I just tested. It works. As far as I understand, whatever you put into your community, as soon as it matches the core structure, what you put there will override the default files. Cool for the upcoming today udpate 😉

Here's the link of the .zip file with just the structure and two fake (but working) layout and manifest files : click here (without the 10-asobo_biomes.xml file that I don't have the right to share). Then, just put the modified "10-asobo_biomes.xml" file provided by @BijanStudio into the vegetation folder.\

Works here too in the Community folder. Thanks for the excellent idea, that way we don't have to modify stock MSFS assets.

What I've been noticing though, is that with the mod the size of the trees are modified (way bigger compared to summer/spring, I mean the green ones) depending on the region. Please report if others are getting the same.

Looks pretty good. I made some changes for me, so I have whole decidous forrests turn reddish and yellow, not only a percentage of trees. Then I added some color to 15_asobo_biomes_cities.xml because I did not like the green patches in some residential areas here in Germany.

Like this:
