Is there not a 1000 point flight model yet? Did they use all 1000 points for each aircraft? Are these 1000 points tuned to perfection in terms of how they interact with the air mass they are flying through?

no, no and also no.

I find it odd that it always thinks i landed in the vicinity of an airport I didn’t land at, rather than landing at the airport I actually landed at. 🤷‍♂️

This has been an issue since the first update after initial release.  I only get vicinity of destinations and no landing credit.

Update went quickly and smoothly, but now my FPS has dropped down to about 20fps (used to sit comfortably on 60) and the FPS counter shows limited by GPU. Its all very choppy, settings haven't changed, and it was all anyways on Ultra. Anyone with the similar issues?

😩 Weather still no updating correctly for Minneapolis.  Actual=Snowing and wind from the North, Sim=Clear Skies and Wind from the South West.  I really thought they fixed that.

something fishy going on. no patch yet, when started up MSFS and just got black screen. opened MS store app and it just hung, can't log into the store online either.

I hope you don't have the same problem I did. Microsoft apps just completely died for me. I first noticed it with the picture viewer (check if that works for you or check if any other microsoft app will run). I got around that by using a 3rd party viewer but then MSFS wouldn't load and then the Store died.

The rest of my programs all worked fine. It was only the MS apps that wouldn't run.

The only solution for me was to completely reinstall windows 10. Not even an inline update would work so it had to a clean reinstall. Thank god I have my main MSFS folder on a separate drive.

Did you update to the most recent dev release?  It worked for me no problem.  The only thing that I noticed was the menu wasn't accessible.  The dropdown hot spot wasn't there anymore.  I am not sure if that is related to the FBW or the update but it wasn't there.

I think there is an issue or the old issue got worse.  Live weather for the entire globe shows clear.  I am in Chicago and we have gusty winds, overcast with rain in the area.  Live weather in the sim is clear and calm

Just did a flight from CYVR to KSEA in the 320 (mod dev build). FPS looked very good. It was a very nice flight. The touchdown was smooth and I was happy, and then, on rollout, I drove in one of those stupid runway anomalies and crashed. Such an annoying bug!

Make sure you don't have 2 KSEA sceneries loading up. I had the same problem at LOWI...  I went and checked and sure enough I didn't delete the Asobo scenery and it created a large dip in the runway causing me to crash

The game runs smooth and fine for me, but I do not notice any performance increase, it runs at the same CPU, GPU load and fps as it did before.

I just discovered that if you set 40MB connection speed limit in the sim, and while downloading the update, you surpass that speed, the download restarts over and over....
You have to download netlimiter and set the limit lower e.g: 39MB in netlimiter if in the sim you set 40MB, can we make this a sticky? Because I think it would avoid many people going crazy watching the progress bar reset over and over.

What a surprise...

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Here is what I noticed with the new update

- live weather shows clear everywhere

- I cannot access the menu toggle during flight - it isn't there anymore

- doing a test at KORD from FSDT, there were random trees all over the taxiways and tarmac (near runway 28C)

- studders are still there but panning in the VC is very smooth

- pixelated clouds and water still appear
