November 11, 20205 yr I have exited and will live to update another day. Abysmal speed. 0.32 MBPS? With a confirmed current 100 MBPS connection? After cancelling the update I downloaded a 128 minute long HD movie in less than three minutes. So i.e. the issue with the update is not my connection speed. Interesting. my update downloaded at 105MB which is pretty much full speed and I am in Australia were the internet is generally totally abysmal. Some sort of conflict between your firewall or ISP and the MS servers ????
November 11, 20205 yr So far this update seems really good! Quick download, good performance, no backwards steps, etc. Thanks Asobo, good job. btw- No surprises... apart from 1, but it wasn't a bad surprise. See pic. I have not personally seen or read anything about this particular "enhancement" to the VFR map. I must admit I was a bit surprised to turn it on just after take off from YVR and see this...! ps- I do have the payware FSDT CYVR installed. Not sure if that's what is behind my little surprise or not? Either way, cool! pps- Loving the water these days!! Worth checking your NAT, firewall settings and the built-in Win 10 gaming services troubleshooters.

I just did a quick circuit in the same a/c at ESMK (about 10km west of here) and weather looked very much like I see it out of the window. Loving the water as well (and the clouds in your pic). What little bit of pixilation or graininess there is around the edges of the clouds in some situations is easy to ignore anyway. I think they will leave it to the DX12 release to take care of that and a few other little display refinements. One question: Do the silver bezels around the radio stack displays still shimmer a bit on yours? That is the only anti-aliasing problem I have on mine now. November 11, 20205 yr 1000's of percent of a file has been downloaded, what's up with that? over 50 Mbits/sec speed indicates a decent connection, and yet it takes 15 GB of data to download a 1.40 GB file. Apparently if the user has a few changes in a few files so they aren't kosher any longer, then Asobo wants to download huge files, unpack them and patch those few files. Instead of just downloading replacements for those few files which would be maybe 10 times faster. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
