April 29, 20242 yr i have 997 addons active in community folder, is this too much and noticeable ? i didn't see ship traffic ... on v3 choosing 1-2 areas all went normal , even with 80% ship traffic setting

But after 23 years for this company and many years on the Vos Stone, I still enjoy seeing here in the sim 🙂 That gives an option of new repaints... 😄 but I will let the old ones continue, there is no beaching of ships for scrap in GAIST.

What you should have in your community folder apart from your 995 other add-ons is these two files. If installation is correct take a look at the English channel where you will always find traffic.

Thanks for reply , installation is correct plus the Great Lakes file (inactive) , i see some traffic but not so many as before , for example in PAKT area , anyway thanks for explanation and recommendations.
June 8, 20242 yr Hi there! I have been experimenting a bit with the new v05 and AIFlow. On its own v05 looks fantastic but has anyone noticed that if AIFlow is running (with AI botas limitation on) only yatchs spawn? Just want to check if is something related to my settings or a general "compatibility" issue. Thanks!

I am using AIFlow and see ‘the full package’… I am only using the AICull feature of AIFlow to limit AI aircraft.
June 8, 20242 yr Yea I don't want AI Flow messing with my other traffic spawns I'll stick with previous version. Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10 MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled) 8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled) 32GB DDR4 3000 Ram 500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2
June 8, 20242 yr AICullMaxBoatsAllowed=30 I used the above purely to see if it worked and it did, watching LNM over the English Channel before and after AIFlow took effect proved it works nicely. But there is no FPS loss from 60+ boats in an area compared to 30 or even less in testing, AI aircraft on the other hand are massive FPS hits so the tool works wonders for culling them. June 23, 20241 yr Congrats! Awesome development that I think have been followoing since the FSX days!
June 23, 20241 yr Well, yes now it is out in the open 😄 Kai and I have supported for some time Microsoft on the development of the real time traffic for MSFS2024 using the experience we have from the development of GAIST Real Time, which we sadly had to put on hold when we lost our data partner. Exactly what the destiny of GAIST will be in MSFS 2024 is still unclear, but it will not, as some already interpreted it, be integrated into MSFS. But more about that in the coming months. For now I'm happy to say that the maritime traffic will get a significant upgrade in MSFS 2024 and I'm slightly proud to be part of that 😄 Meanwhile a new optimized version of GAIST for MSFS 2020 should be ready next weekend. June 23, 20241 yr Congratulations 👍 On a side note, I noticed a couple of warships on the west side of Gibraltar during final approach to runway 09 this morning. One of them was turning around at a very unrealistically rapid rate. I assume that the speed of these turns is rather difficult to get right with the AI system in MSFS 2020? No, unfortunately not much to do about that. But at least it is over quickly... But that is exactly one of the points of the real time traffic and in particular the magic that Kai has been doing to get realistic movements in harbors.
June 23, 20241 yr Congratulations Kai and Henrik for being identified as one of Asobo's partners for MSFS 2024. You guys have given so much to our community and all for free. You absolutely deserve this recognition for all your hard work. So happy for you both and we look forward to more of your brilliant work!
