Problem with FBW A320 AP after update 7

Featured Replies

Is anyone else having problems with the A320 AP after the update today.

Plane flies fine but the AP is not working right at all for me, it will not even follow heading and does not follow flight plan at all.

I removed the mod from the Community folder during update.

Other than this problem I like the improved landscape both around Boston and SF.

I flew KBOS to KACK, I had to hand fly the whole flight, kind of fun actually. Even the ILS was off on the GS on approach.

The Auto throttle does work fine.

When ever there is a Asobo update. It will throw the Airbus out of whack. They are aware and will fix as soon as they can.

Have you tried resetting your controller deadzones again? That appears to have fixed it for some people.

It appears lots of others have this problem as well.

Hopefully FBW team will have a fix soon.

I have the same problem with or without the mod. AP is completely unusable . It wont follow any flight plan with the a320.

Interesting that it seems to be working if you start up on the runaway instead of C & D at the gate. Asobo has some work to do

I tried a flight with the latest dev mod this morning and had issues with the AP on departure.  It banked about 80 degrees off course and wouldn't follow the route or obey anything I changed in selected mode.

Same issue (Unmodded A320). I try to use the unmodded airbus after every update and they have NEVER been able to get it back to the Autopilot functionality it had when it was released.

Attempted a flight from Minneapolis to O Hare last night (Gate to Gate cold and dark). Aircraft would not follow the heading in the flightplan. Turned off the sim in disgust. I did the US tour in the caravan prior and it followed the flightplan no problems all the way to DC. Mind you i barely ever use props they fly waay too slow.

Getting tired of flying CJ4 for the jet experience. That seems like the only default jet aircraft that works most times.

Ill eval the other jets when i get home from work there has to be at least one other jet that works.

There is a chap on youtube (Easyjetsimpilot) who is currently using a rollback of a previous FBW version which actually works fine, until such time as FBW update their latest dev version.  The link to obtain this rollback version is in the description of the youtube video (should you wish to try it whilst we await FBW to update again).

I fly the AM339 a lot it is very fast and works fine. It is payware but well worth it.

But it is an all steam gauge and no auto pilot, just hand fly, but it is stable once you get it trimmed out.

It is suggested to check your joystick deadzone and adjust it aroud %10.

I just experienced the same out of 16L KSEA SUMMA2 SID.

I tried the stable 4.1 FBW mod tonight and was in a steep left bank turn as soon as I engaged the autopilot.  It's virtually unusable for me.  Deadzone has no effect, as it shouldn't.  It flies perfectly fine for me by stick with AP off.  It's the AP that's completely borked.  It's so frustrating that every time there's an update, I need to wait a week for the community to patch all the new bugs introduced.  FFS!

So to get it right , this is an issue as well from the stock one ?
