January 22, 20215 yr Guys place your bets! When do you think Carenado will update Waco? Next patch? Month from now? Two months from now? 🙂 Edited January 22, 20215 yr by sd_flyer Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). Two months from now? 🙂 Whenever they do get around to it - MS will then take another 6 weeks to get the patch into the marketplace for those people that purchased it in game 😄 On the plus side, apparently MS have re-enabled some tables that were locked out and forcing developers to jump through hoops to fix glitches with imported aircraft (assuming they were a studio that even had FM people to do it as a lot of small dev teams have traditionally been a batch of talented graphic artists who relied on the sim itself to do most of the heavy lifting for FM work) we might see a flurry of updates for a few broken aircraft with luck. Could this be an MFS thing to prevent newcomers from frightening themselves? Nice picture by the way. 🙂 Another EDIT: I've just watched the MFS Update aeronautics video and it seems stalls and spins and a bunch of other stuff is upcoming. Sounds good. Thanks Ron That is actually Sydney, or as they say in the Land Down Under, 'Seednee'.😀 T45

January 23, 20215 yr Thanks Jan! I downloaded the Texaco one then realised I hadn't even purchased the plane from Carenado yet! 😁 That might have to change later. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Now, it shows as Owned, but 0kb Download available. Until @Asobo forces it's developers to get with the program, and HOLDS THEM ACCOUNTABLE for content; AND THEN are also themselves, timely and competent in getting updates out- the MSFSMP will remain the disaster it currently is. At the moment each finger points to the other, and the consumer sits and waits, indefinitely- not stellar. The security issue requiring locked files, I can try and understand. The incompetence in administering the MSFSMP and lack of quality control standards is a bit harder to stomach. Our ecosystem is a microcosm in the macrocosm that is the Gamer Market. Surely there are better safeguards for quality and timely distribution than this in the larger? C Edited January 23, 20215 yr by cavaricooper Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

It is still somewhat broken. I am getting better at landing at St Bart's though. YMF-5 at St Bart's live weather 5 knot crosswind component. Edited January 23, 20215 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick

You can only currently get it through MSFS Marketplace, I believe. If you have issues with a Marketplace purchase, (screens disappearing), try opening MSFS, NOT AS the Administrator. That worked for me. T45
