December 22, 20205 yr What is the correct way to launch MSFS if you purchased from the Marketplace? Early on I would start the sim by clicking the MSFS icon. During the first update, I didn't see the update, so I did a little research to see what the issue was. People instructed us to launch the sim via the "beta Microsoft app" or something like that (can't find original post). I couldn't find anything with that name. The only thing I could find was the XBox console companion. I installed that and launched MSFS through that. The update appeared, so from then on, I have been launching though that. Is this correct? MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad

December 22, 20205 yr Hi, Looking at FlyByWire A320NX's source files on GitHub, it's not surprising that it breaks with each update. It looks like it still depends on some default instruments, which obviously always change with updates. FlyByWire team should create a copy these instruments, and re-reference everything - even though it's a really tiring task, it would make the A32NX completely independent / standalone from default MSFS packages, and therefore update-proof.
