Wake effects for seaplanes

Featured Replies

There are wakes, they just don’t work 100% of the time. I’ve seen them on the A5 at least. It still uses the same wake texture from FSX.

Look for it on an external drive on your network, it must be there, I saw a message on my computer screen the other day which said there was an option for 'Wake on LAN'. 🤣

You know that's gonna go right over a lot of people's heads, right? 🤣

Nice to wake up to some amusing posts this Christmas Eve!

Maybe we'll see all of the missing effects by next Christmas.  Dear Santa, I would like "contrails" for next Christmas.

Wake effect? Is that what you call a hangover before a funeral?

Check over on Sim Outhouse forums. They maintain a "sticky" thread there to Wake Island.

Only those without an Island mentality. 😁

I know it's Christmas, but you guys really need to take more water with it!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

There was a note in the dev updates about a fancy new particle effects system for the first couple of months after launch, but they seem to have stopped talking about it.

I wonder if that tied into wakes at all.

On a serious note, its being worked on, but it will need more time to be released.

interesting, I asked this same question a month ago and was told in no uncertain terms that the sim 'does have them'...  just thought it was an issue on my end
