December 30, 20205 yr Has Aerosoft ever delivered something "on time"?. Those who are waiting for the CRJ for MSFS will have to wait until Q2 at least, that's my guess. December 30, 20205 yr Mathijs Kok, Thanks for the update. Please do not bring us another broken aircraft into a broken flight simulator. Asobo/Microsoft need a New Year's Resolution to get the sim in much better operating order. The delay is understandable and I look forward to the release in 2021. Patience, patience, patience.............................. Happy New Year! Tschüss Jim Morgan

They've said that they were working closely with Asobo in developing the CRJ implying that they shouldn't be waiting for the completion of the SDK, but I see it's not the case. Anyway, I'm not an Aerosoft-CRJ lover, considering the very bad previous experience users had with the P3D version. December 30, 20205 yr Not the least bit surprised. Likely for the better. Of course there will be some stomping their feet over this news, but if they had released prematurely there would be even more stomping and yelling. What this creates is extra demand for a quality payware airliner since there is virtually nothing available now and in the next months. Pretty sure they learned some lessons from the previous premature release for P3D. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
December 30, 20205 yr Better that they get it right than getting it early. My guess is, the beta testing unveiled some issues so Aerosoft wants to fix those and polish the CRJ more before it’s released. And before any more misinformation is spread, developers from FBW and Working Title have said the MSFS SDK is comprehensive and very high fidelity airliners can be created in MSFS, provided the developer is willing to follow the new API and use a new coding methodology. December 30, 20205 yr I applaud Aerosoft for taking their time, when the extra cash would be welcome for Aerosoft in the short term, however the delay give the devs a chance to get the CRJ working correctly, so this delay is a good thing for everyone in the long term. December 30, 20205 yr The fact is that both Aerosoft and Asobo realize that this will be the first official plane that will set the tone for future aircraft development in their platform. Since Aerosoft has partnered with Asobo on the many SDK related issues, it's wise to get it all right the first time around. Aerosoft would have no excuse if things didn't work right.

Cheers, Ed Before they clammed up on the in depth updates they said there were some blockers they were waiting for Asobo to fix to allow the release to go forward. I'm assuming those didn't make it into Sim Update II on the 22nd, so now they have to wait at least until the end of January, and possibly until Sim Update III in February.
