I haven't had a crashes yet. Though I don't know if any of my addon airports are affected. I haven't checked all of them.

I thought also I was unaffected, until the simulator dissappeard silently into Nirvana on approach to Aix-les-Bains coming from Courchevel yesterday. Not surprized, after learning I have > 3000 of the poisoned files (not all active at this time, of course.)

Last time I looked at Scenery Spikes on their list, it stated, what are quickly becoming their standard weasel words of - 'ongoing improvements'.

My interpretation of this is 'we have had a go at fixing it, but if it isn't fully fixed, it is because we are still improving it, don't shoot us!'.

Various other interpretations can now follow below! 😀

Weasel words is a bit uncharitable. It's a spreadsheet with a small amount of space to describe the status of dozens of features/bugs, Your interpretation would be pretty much the textbook definition of "ongoing improvements" - ongoing changes to improve it are being implemented, but it's not done yet.

You may be right, and I didn't mean it like that, as I genuinely think these guys are struggling, and that isn't what I want to happen; I just want the sim fixed like everybody else.

Wikipedia definition is what I meant: -
A weasel word... is an informal term for words and phrases aimed at creating an impression that something specific and meaningful has been said, when in fact only a vague or ambiguous claim has been communicated.

I think that is fair.  On the list, they have 7 as 'ongoing improvements', but three of these are also on their 'backlog'.  So if they are not working on them (backlog), then improvements aren't ongoing at the moment.  Ambiguous. But in the big scheme of things, I am fed up of arguing over words, or how many days is meant by 'a matter of days' (spike fix).  Like most people, I just want the sim fixed up.

Good! 😀

Commercially, if my company, or one of our suppliers worked like this, there would be a few nuts getting roasted.

As domestic customers, it seems we have to accept lesser standards.  What surprises me is the amount of people who defend it.  Please someone feel free to explain why if you can - seriously, I don't get it! 😕

Calm your passions it's only 1400 in France and 0500 in West Coast USA. The updates usually do not land until evening in European time.

We're 14 hours into February 16th, was hoping to update before work but no, and also you can't play anything else during their updates because for some reason the update uses the same amount of system resources as when the game is running...🤮
