Calm your passions it's only 1400 in France and 0500 in West Coast USA. The updates usually do not land until evening in European time.

Or get delayed for another week

We're 14 hours into February 16th, was hoping to update before work but no, and also you can't play anything else during their updates because for some reason the update uses the same amount of system resources as when the game is running...🤮

That hope was unfounded, all updates so far have launched around 1600z or later.

Yah, I am filling in time by bush bashing in the crazy little aerolite 103  -- despite all the glitches they need to fix and being a bit overpriced it is a really  fun and addictive thing to fly.

I predict the CTD'S will continue and we will still have the scenery spikes, Most if not Mods with not work,  there will be at least ONE major new issue introduced. Other than that nothing with change

Except of coarse great new scenery

I would just like to see the FMC capable of retaining the flight plan after loading a previously saved game* and/or not deciding to turn the aircraft around and head back to the previous waypoint!

* I tried the unofficial hotfix of overwriting the customflight.pln but couldn't get it to work for me.

A friend of mine knows someone who is the neighbor of the brother-in-law of one of Asobo's designers. Well, not exactly neighbors, but they live in the same country.
So my friend told me he heard that World Update 3 will be delayed to end of February.

Right then!.  I just had a little burst of expectant excitement.  So trying to be optimistic, by the end of the day, if everything goes right, we could have: -

1. The Bing server CGL file problem fixed.
2. From about 16:00 GMT, the new update, with the spike and other mesh fixed, and I predict a pleasant surprise we are not expecting (no, not another show-stopping bug 😀).
3. The superb looking update for the FIAT G91.
4. A nice update for the Piaggio as well.
5. Coffee Cup version 2 launched at flightsim.to (hopefully with removable lid and sloshing coffee inside!).  Appropriate link attached...  https://flightsim.to/file/8105/keep-calm

Now that would be a hell of a day wouldn't it!  It could happen!     The countdown begins...

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I think it will be delayed, possible due to the CTD issue which looks to be a massive one since they are still investing?
