Wasn't it that we could just put a name of a spot in the search bar in the MSFS world map menu to go directly there? Or am I missing something?

There are only 2 capital cities in the update afterall, London and Dublin. At least pay it some attention if they are to include Ireland as part of the update.

Have some good news to share. I'm now on 1.13.16.0 without having to perform a complete reinstall of MSFS. This is a first to me since I bought it back in August last year. So I guess this is a night to celebrate!

Five hours later and the update download has finally completed for me! That base_CGL_Patch file takes sooo long!

I didn't see the advice to remove manual cache before downloading, so I'll do that now and reboot the PC before restarting the sim and grabbing the files from Marketplace and rebooting again just to be sure. 

 

Edit: Manual Cache delete is greyed out so I must have done that previously and never re-enabled it.👍

Barclays looking in a spot of bother as their building is built from crisp packets 😉  Have done a video of a short flight over London - think the servers are struggling to render all the buildings with everyone on at the moment - but hopefully will improve as they quiet down.

 

 

Only had time for a quick check due to WTRL night on Zwift, I’m a little disappointed they couldn’t manage a 3D model of Ashton Gate seen as we now have photogrammetry for Briz, and no Severn bridges either - at least the Clifton suspension bridge is there I guess.

Any word on the new particle system? I thought that was coming with this update? New contrails, wheel spray etc 😄

London Eye is there.. just flew over it...  HMS Belfast is there, just flew over it, however, the combination of the satellie imagery and other bits makes HMS Belfast not look very Belfast ish 🙂

London eye is in the Microsoft video. Perhaps you still have content to download in the Content manager.

I just didn't flew over them, because they are not there, even Buckingam Palace is the same as before the update.
