Patch Notes (1.14.6.0) Now Available!

PERFORMANCE

  • Performance optimizations when flying close to large airports such as Dallas-Ft Worth (KDFW)

  • Performance optimizations of server requests when in the menus and during flight

Navdata

  • The Aeronautical Information Regulation And Control (AIRAC) cycle is being updated with new navdata.

Reminder: Some packages in your community folder may not have been updated and, as a result, may have an unexpected impact on the title’s performance and behavior. Please move your community package(s) to another folder before relaunching the title if you suffer from stability issues or long loading times.

This particular patch is a launcher-only update, so be sure to check for updates in the Windows Store or Steam. Later today, Navdata will be pushed to the sim as well. This will be an in-sim content update so be sure to look out for that.

Why do they have to make it so ##@ hard. I start MSFS , checks for updates, and no updates. Then I go to the MS Store, and where MSFS 2020 is listed, it says "error". My guess is this is a sign from above, and I should just leave this update alone.

I believe it takes time to send the update to all the servers
