Download on Steam is now available, and there's also a 126MB download on the installation manager for the new AIRAC cycle.

Tried the update, menus are feeling even smoother than before now, and 76T works great. Hopefully all the issues will be gone now.

FPS was about 16 to 23 before this update today at a specific airport. I'm flying the default A320.  After the update today, it's up to 26 to 33 FPS at the same airport with the default A320.

Maybe they've been talking to Volkswagen?

I've installed the new patch today, and performance is, not only fixed, but better than it's ever been! To test, I even opened a couple of extra video windows a moment ago on a second monitor -- one with YouTube TV and another with a home security system. In the past, these additional windows would noticeably degrade the performance of the sim. Now, however, I'm getting good, smooth performance with no stutters, even with extra video going.

Sometimes if your tooth hurts a little, you don't go to the dentist. If your tooth hurts a lot, you do go to the dentist. Perhaps the recent FPS problems made us -- or Asobo at least -- go to the dentist and get the problem fixed.

I'm happy now.

It’s not stupid, it’s always been like this. And if you were smart enough to accept that Microsoft makes automatic updates and no need to think about it.

The version of the launcher should be 1.14.6.0.

Well...

It has downloaded the update, but...

...it is 1.14.5.0 again!

Do the Working Title mods work after the update?

A launcher update should not have any impact on mods, only content updates, which this is not. Should be all good.

5800X3D | Radeon RX 6900XT

Go to Microsoft store, click on the 3 dots, select updates then click on get updates.

After going through these hoopsI have now downloaded the 1.03 GB patch (I assume). So let's go and check it out.  I will be back with my findings soon.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

Hmm maybe I need to try and get Steam to update again.  I tried loading in and got the in sim update and assumed that was it but it didn't fix anything, but Steam didn't update anything yet still.  Guess I got the navdata update but not the fix.

When you start MSFS you'll get a 126.29MB update notice while loading

You'd be confronted with an update screen and not able to move on unless you accept it.

Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10
MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)
8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled)
32GB DDR4 3000 Ram
500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

I just started MSXFS 2020 and I got a Performance Update. It says performance Optimizations when flying to airports near KDFW. It's downloading AI traffic 126 MB. I see the progress bar while loading is gone again.
