Performance hotfix (1.14.6.0) is now live!!!

Recommended Posts

For those who who only downloaded the Microsoft store update and are flying right now, there is an ingame update available as well if you re-start the sim (probably the updated nav database)

Hmm maybe I need to try and get Steam to update again.  I tried loading in and got the in sim update and assumed that was it but it didn't fix anything, but Steam didn't update anything yet still.  Guess I got the navdata update but not the fix.

I've changed the steam server to US - Seattle and got it.

Maybe I'll actually get to fly the CRJ now.

I just updated, haven't tried it yet.

But for those who can't find the update on Store, your computer has likely downloaded it already. For me I went to the Store, clicked on Downloads, there were only one download for an unrelated product. Then I went on the Installed tab, found MSFS and seconds later a notification popped up on the right hand corner saying Flight Simulator had been updated.

San Juan is running with San Juan VFR and LVFR's TJSJ. It was a stutter fest prior to this update.

Yeah as soon as I exited and popped Steam up it started downloading finally.  Only 300MB, don't know where people are getting a 1GB update.  Between 300MB from Steam and the 130'ish in sim already for the nav update that's nowhere near 1GB

40 FPS at 76T! Amazing 😯

Looking good here too.

Could it be that they finally fixed the live weather feature?

In the Content Manager?

Or do you mean the one that downloads after starting the sim?

I have to say just half an hour before the patch I was enjoying my favorite stutter fest near NZTG at 13fps. Now those so and sos at Asobo have forced 50fps on me in the same place instead causing a huge shock to my nervous system and uncharacteristic joy, Who do I complain to?

Ha ha  - so far looks much smoother much better, lots of testing to do but looks like a huge improvement so far in the JF PA28 v 0.3 (beautiful plane!)

I am getting above 45fps right now in the 747-8. Just left Tokyo Intl.  This is really smooth.
