I do not know whether the guys at FI read this forum but I would very much appreciate if, in the next update if any, they replaced the useless targeting gizmo to put a small GPS instead. The A2A P-51 had one and that made her a wonderful cruiser.

Two TO and landings so far. Funny they are indeed different but I find  them easier. No  (or much less, easier to control) floating at takeoff and an easy three-point at landing. Light crosswind only though (4 knots). Taxi is a peach ... if you know from where the wind blows.

Having a set of pedals helps a lot.  Just sayin' 😉..

Well yes Dominique, I was using the "old" trim setting or it might have been from a real manual, Trim pitch 1 down rudder trim right +4.

I nosed down on takeoff first go. But the FI manual now says Pitch trim and rudder = Neutral for TO.

Also when in level flight before I was around 0 pitch trim, now you do need to trim up.

After I used the new trim setting like you said it was sweet.

@bobcat999 If you dont have any you can have my old saitek ones for free. Or just buy me a drink. All they are doing is collecting dust.

Has anyone seen a changelog yet for the newest version?

I got the download link but could not find it anywhere.

Cheers!

@Chock Alan I think this update might need a new review from you, its a huge step up or a very good one.

I can't confirm nor denied if that list is true or not but as far I remember this is not a complete list.

I'm actually weighing that up right now.

In other news, the truly excellent Big Radials P40 is now available at Simmarket for people who might prefer to buy it from there and in doing so, bemuse the Simmarket admins by actually buying something off their site for MSFS which isn't rubbish like some set of lights knocked up in five minutes or other garbage like that which they insist on hosting.

Really?! That's a good offer.  I would certainly buy you a decent drink for them and give it a go.

My main problem is rudder control at the moment (twist grip not cutting it).

Looks like you are East Midlands. I am only down the road in Birmingham so I will switch to PM to see if we can sort something out.  Cheers!

Careful on that one, we released today on simmarket, and i guess there platform isnt really intuitive, we setup the price to be 22€50, but then they added VAT to that, wich make it 27€. So, we'll get that fixed tonight when my Oz follow wakes up, but until then, please hold off purchasing from there. if you do however, reach out to us so we can work something out

Does this fix the plane immediately veering hard left running off the runway even with full right rudder applied on takeoff? 😵

I understand the extra exposure you may generate through there, but I guess it is still better for your company if we get it from your Big Radials site?

I have no problem with SM, and I do purchase from them, but I would rather have my hard earned cash have maximum impact directly for the developer if possible.

Direct sale from our website will ALWAYS be better than any vendor, marketplaces etc. 🙂
