France & Benelux World Update (1.15.7.0) is now live!

One thing that helped me reach that conclusion, is that I can read.. If you go up a couple of posts you will see that a problem was reported by the beta testers and Asobo ignored it and released the update anyway.

Any more questions?

As far as I understand it was NOT reported by beta testers but by the developer of that tool. But jumping to strange conclusions is Bob's style. 🙂

Performance Improved?

I noticed the work has now been shifted from the CPU (Primary core) to the GPU. GPU is close to 100% most of the time, CPU not so much.

Anyone else noticed the workload shift?

Interesting.

My GPU has always been in mid 70s to max 90.  CPU typically about 20-25% at most

The developer of Spad.Next posted on their discord before the release today (~12:30 GMT) that a beta tester had notified them of the problem.

FSUIPC running fine here. I don't have hardware setup via FSUIPC as mentioned above

I have a couple of joystick buttons set with FSUIPC, no problems on my end.

Flying out of Brussels BE, EBBR, good FPS, smooth, scenery looks great. On my way to Amsterdam.

" good FPS, smooth "

Yes it's even too fluid now ... In short it would take too long to explain to you why.

"scenery looks great"

Nothing disturbs on the horizon Everything has been cleaned as it should! wonderful!

Lol - they add just three handcrafted airports and for some random reason Neofly gave me a mission to Megève Airport (LFHM) two days ago. On route they called in and said the customer (darn VIPs) had changed their mind and wanted to go to Annency (LFLP) instead where I managed to set down my TBM with 300 feet to the cieling and pouring rain (Sunday evening if that was correct IRL). No ILS so I had to go down until I saw the ground and hug the Annency roofs in my circuit. Managed to do it but thanked the gods I was re-routed from LFHM. One of the best sim experiences of my life actually in VR...

It was meant to be - and I must go to LFHM now 🙂

So does this mean that FSUIPC, which I thought everyone uses, will make the sim crash?

SDK version 0.12.0.0 was just released along with today’s update. Possibly standalone WASM modules will need to be recompiled against the new SDK to work in the new sim version. However, the Aerosoft CRJ which is 100 percent WASM does appear to work with today’s update, and that was built using SDK 0.11.0.0. It may depend on which WASM functions are being used.

new procedural/autogen buildings I've noticed so far in France. I haven't flown around France a whole lot, so some of these could be old.

New Apartment/resort buildings?

Unfortunately not. I built the stand alone WASM sample from the 0.12 - same crash.

It is only the standalone modules that are affected, not those that are part of an aircraft package.
