New Nvidia driver 471.11 available

Featured Replies

Yep, seems like a solid driver. I don't have MSFS yet, but I'm pretty sure 4xMSAA in P3D4.5 looks better than before and overall I seem to get nice smooth performance.

This thread should perhaps be moved to the correct forum as well.

Yep, installed and no problems so far.

This driver blanks out the ability to adjust desktop colours, brightness, contrast or gamma. Returning to previous driver which does not close down these controls.

That's odd as I've all these available for adjustment in the Nvidia Control Panel as usual.

Ops normal here too with this driver

Weird, doesn’t for me.

Make sure to turn off auto optimization in geforce experience

Or don't even bother with GeForce Experience. I do custom install and select driver only. You still get the NCP without the bloat.

Well I've just installed it again (driver only) and immediately the desktop colour sliders are greyed out. I re-install 166.77 and they appear again. Perhaps I am doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Rob let me know if you need help as Greg has mentioned use Display Driver Uninstaller then use NVcleanstall - works great

If they turned out as many GPU's as drivers we'd all be happy 😊
