Doubt it, they have already stated publicly, that they expect the price will be $139.99, and those that bought the Ngx-u will have a $99.99 credit towards the MSFS version. If it goes for $75, they will owe some people money 😂. That being said, if they can deliver that quality at that price, I dont think its going to reflect too nicely on PMDG to be honest.

140$ that wont happen if so thats going to be a hard pill to swallow for all involved - lot of young folks onboard now and they arent going to pay that not even close

I see competition on high end addon good for the customer cost wise, but I think it's even more important quality wise .

Fenix seems, to be developing something over what other dev are doing, what will be PMDG reaction to that on their 737, 747, 777. Will they just port it with improvements or really add game changing feature.

It's an awesome time to be a simmer and our view is way cleaner than what we had in August 2020

It was some time ago, with the DC-6 sales, now they can see the market better, 140$ is more expensive than the sim and is 110$ more than another 737 which were number one in sim market sales.

Also, if they develop for Xbox, a fair entry price, is the good strategy, until new simmers get to know them.

PMDG stated that people who is wondering if to get the Ngx-u or wait for the Ng3, do not need to worry and should get both, as they will receive they full credit of $99.99 towards the NG3 purchase, once purchased before Dec 19th 2019, which the anticipate to be $139. In that case if it goes for say $80, will the NG3 be free for those that purchased Ngx-u + $20 credit? I doubt it. If they refuse to honor the credit, I think there's gonna be huge backlash.

It's was nearly 22 month ago, a lot have changed, I am sure they will find a way for those with 100$ credit, for the 737 + all extra and maybe a small discount on something else.

But I really don't think it will be over 80$, In any case will are going to see it soon enough.

I also really wish that on future big addons, we not only get the plane, I would love a dozen missions created, fully voiced with special weather, in flight emergency, old but genuine tricky flight plan, type rating exam, etc...

Hate to sound rude but these "Top notch" developers like PMDG are not going to do massive price drops to make the "kiddies" happy. There are already cheaper alternate options for the 737 and a 777 in the sim. PMDG did a 10$ price drop on the DC6 from the FSX/P3D.v3 version sorry but I just don't see major price drops, these high fidelity products are not targeted for everyone.

Edit: and the better option for the younger group would already be the good freeware mod made by Fly By Wire.

Your not rude - just your opinion I respect that - imo bad move Ill be thinking twice at that price - there is no alternatives close to PMDG  - but 140$ I dont think it will be that much - well see

I agree I doubt it will be 140 for the PMDG 737.  those were p3d prices because p3d wasn't licensed for entertainment (even though everyone or almost everyone used it that way).

It will not be 140$ this is not FS Airbus Labs group we are talking about here, lol but PMDG and this soon to be new product are for the hardcore and serious simmer not for the casuals.

It's more about making the simmers happy and also to grab those new simmers that started with MSFS.

Also we might not get a 2008 crisis, but the covid19 one left a lot of scars, tons or people are or will be in financial difficulties, threating them as kiddies is a bit much

It costs a around a few hundred to rent one for a day, not too bad - you just need to know the right people to haul one into a real airliner cockpit. We've been planning to do some real scans for a while for our A32NX remodel (from scratch), and we might as well get some A320 CEO scans too while we're at it (all funded by donations).

I'm a little let down its yet another A320. What do I gotta do to get a DC-9 or 727 around here!? 😆😆

However that does not mean I am not excited for this. I've been simming for over 20 years and I'm a sucker for highly detailed addons and I do spend a lot of money on this hobby. There is no question in my mind that I will buy it right away. I wish them luck with the release and I hope they prove themselves. I have confidence that they will deliver us a great A320.
