Left my laptop sitting with all sleep settings off, and MSFS update just completely disappeared sometime around 16%. WHY!?!?!  Have to start all over from 0 again. It's 2021, it can't save the progress???

Plus it keeps pausing the download repeatedly🤬

What da heck....I just launched MSFS it checked for update and just loaded the game...no update prompt for me !!!

You need to download the first update in Store or Steam, depending on which version you have.

The mandatory update screen should pop up shortly after launch. I always get stuck in the stupid MS Store cycle until it decides to start updating

I wonder why they don't change the update process. Instead of making everyone update at once, when they sign on, they should give users a few days, before making the update mandatory. Then everyone won't try and update at the same time overloading the servers. Similar to how windows 10 lets you delay an update for 7 days, or whatever it is.

It actually went straight to the game menu after checking for update...as @Republic3D mentioned to me it seems that I didn't check the store update first
