Man let them complain all they want. Life is too short and if it's one thing the pandemic has proven that. Some of these guys are 80+ years old, you'd think they aged gracefully and mellowed out and try to enjoy the remainder of their years. Instead they are on avsim carrying on about this and that.

There might be a classist element to it by looking down on others on consoles and less powerful PCs.

Well it didn't do that before Su5..That is what people are complaining about. 

@Bobsk8Yes, but before SU5 it wasn't a smooth. It's a tradeoff. ASOBO said as much. Apparently one a vocal minority are not happy about.

yes, isnt it funny..the richer the more spoilt they seem.

i find this a good update , yes some issues, but i can run again with photogrammtry on and its smooth, treelod fixed too.

i am happy, i dont see the popup some people complain about probably only visible on highest settings.

You have some pictures to compare? I don't even know what you mean with "much lower resolution look", it looks the same to me.

I just posted an image showing my tree LOD unchanged, so I'm confused why I see that but you say the tree LOD is fixed.  My update was smooth plus I have update all files in the marketplace.

I' also confused with your comment ' isnt it funny..the richer the more spoilt they seem'.  I have a problem with tree lod that you don't so I'll ask about it. I'm glad the update for you is positive, but why is somebody spoilt in some way because their update has issues?

This is a copy and paste from the Admin at PMDG DC6 forum regarding poor resolution of VC textures after update. 

 

"Unfortunately currently nothing can be done about the lower resolution in the VC. This is due to Asobo changes on how they handle the textures. We have inquired them but have not yet received any answer if this is fixable."

 

So I guess one way to get a few more FPS, is to lower the texture resolution in the cockpit.....
