Pease folks.  Just hurry up and wait for the patch. Just do something else in the meantime. Hopefully, most of us have a life outside of MSFS.

Good things come for those who wait and patience is a virtue. 

I haven't seen this level of hysteria since company not allowed dropped malware into their installer to 'combat piracy'.

But there's a whole lot here who remind me at times of Karens throwing a royal hissy because someone has the NERVE to make them wear a mask in a store for the protection of everyone there.  Heavens forfend you ever have to suffer a little bit of inconvenience in your life, right?

Perspective, please.   If having some pop-in enter your sim is the worst thing in your life, you have it pretty dang good.   Or, on the flip side, if it throws you off kilter as much as it seems to have some, maybe you should step away from the sim for a while and find a new hobby, for your own health.

This place has gone nuts recently, even more so than usual.  It's a rather sorry sight.

It's not the stutters or the popins that are annoying me. It's the CTD's, which I never got before. And the only things in Community are WT CJ4, PMDG DC-6, Latest Navigraph data, and the AF_Bridge for my Bravo. I tried a flight in the DA62 from KC to Tulsa. While the included Navmap showed the Correct FP, looking at the New G1000 from Marketplace it looked like some kid drew a looping crayon line instead. SO, I flew the route via HDG instead of NAV, got lined up on Approach at correct ALT, hit APR and you guessed it CTD.

Can you provide me the full flight plan so I can check it out and see if there's a bug to fix, please?

I appreciate the sentiment and agree there's much more to life. I had an amazing 4 hour hike over Lake Lugano here in Switzerland today. It was beautiful.

After spending lots of money, Sim Update 5 is still disappointing to me however 😀

And if anyone seriously thought that a game which can run on two different platforms (one of which has near infinitesimal hardware combinations), which has multiplayer connection, streams the entire world in scenery in real time and has literally thousands of people connected to the same server, could have a complete rehash patch and patch all of its in-store add-ons as well as be dependent on exterior mods and all their patches in order to be glitch-free, and not have any issues, then they really do need to step away from the crack pipe, because freaking out about it, when we know it will get sorted out - and it will - is just pointless.

I would really love to see some of these people if they ever found themselves in a real crisis, and the idea of some of these people ever getting into difficulties in a real aeroplane just doesn't bear thinking about. 🤣

KMKC-SPRNT-DOSOA-HOCJO-KACED-CNU-HOTAP-WENIX-TYROE-DELAT-MURNA-TUL-VERUC-KTUL (RW18R)

This route was done in MSFS World Planner by choosing KMKC to KTUL, Low Altitude Airways, ILS 18R. I just tried it again with the same result

dissapointing to me too. so much so, I have no interest in using it right now. My point is... take a deep breath, and hopefully it gets sorted eventually.

and have you tried flying without these addons, because these are the most often happening causes for ctd's.

the problem is more the users than the game, and mainly their mindset.

i see a lot wrong in the sim oh yes, but i find workarounds and still happy flying it.

Keep calm and CTD on...lol.  Sorry someone had to do it.  🙂

I thought this update was supposed to be great. Now I'm reading that it's not? I haven't played in months because a previous update broke the entire thing, forcing me to wipe the entire game, so I did what some suggest - I walked away for awhile. Now I'm back because I thought this was "the" update everyone was waiting for, but now I'm not so sure.

It would actually be good news, in a way, if this update is bad, because it's going to take me a literal month to download MSFS again because of this rubbish installation manager. That's not an exaggeration.

So what's wrong with this update? In a nutshell, of course.

Degredation of visual quality to appease people who havent upgraded their PC in 10 years. Thats about the crux of it. Not since the days of FSX or P3D V1 have we seen these poppin problems, but dont complain about it. Just accept it as progress and move on. Its a bit of a joke really
