Microsoft Boat Simulator from MSFS!

Featured Replies

The potential of MSFS is immense. Imagine a sail simulation going on in the same virtual world where you takeoff with your Cessna and observe it from above ...

I really hope they see it the same way.

PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM.

Simulators I'm using: X-Plane 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and FlightGear.

And a Train Simulator too, merged with long Country routes....

And the Sims getting in your aircraft, and GTA Grand Theft Auto VI haha.

Cool. Pretty sure boat simulation will be expanded to be pretty versatile in the future in the MSFS world.  Whats stopping payware seaports from being developed, or a higher fidelity boat/ship simulation. In time I have a feeling they will incorporate it into the SDK.

You guys realize they're creating the Matrix right? 🤣

I would love if people made these boats with VC with interactive panels in different places in the boat and the ability to walk around the boat.  The possibilities are endless.  Yachts, power boats, freighters, ect, ect.  I would pay for these if they are well implemented.

I'd love to see that, but it would need a huge amount of work.  The general scenery at ground level is pretty awful away from airports.  Nowhere near good enough for a viable train sim aspect as it stands.   We can live in hope though.

Imagine! You could also land with your plane, and take board into an ai traffic at the airport, to another destination.

Some one big firm could rent an helicopter or plane or ultralight and record one route in 3D and Lidar or whatever technology that does that, more a good IA for make the scenery and autogen, and done in one day, or make a fund. Possible it would be possible.

To dream is free, by the moment.... haha

DTG is already working on Train Simulator for Game pass, remember they did FSW till MS pull it from them.

The first 64bit version of FSX.

I have a bit more of a hundred of hours in their Train Simulator World from one or two years ago. I bought the 2 some months ago in a Steam offer but it is still in the shelve, but it is almost the same of the TSW "1", and I miss a real photogrammetry, real buildings, "real" vegetation etc. surrounding you, and a long route, not only 50km..., and it still isn´t VR, but it is the best, there is no other at that point.
