September 4, 20214 yr My 3090 has already kicked my electric bill in the family jewels, with it's 480watt max. The overclocked 10900k doesn't help either, with it drawing 300+ watts. I can see why the industry is beginning to come under scrutiny.

By that time I will have finished building a new room on my house, complete with a walk-in cooler to house and cool the card. The room will have it's own 210 VAC power line and a breaker panel with ten 110 VAC, 30 amp breakers to power the card. I asked the Nuclear Regulatory Commission if I could construct my own, mini-nuclear reactor to power the card, but they denied my request based on the premise that if I could afford to buy the graphics card, I could afford to buy the electricity too.
