September 5, 20214 yr The problem with these increasing TDPs is: how the hell to get the heat out of the case. I have a 3080ti which under load needs 450 watts cooled by a 240 AIO watercooler. The backside of my case where it’s installed as outflow is glowing under heavy load (around 50-70 degrees) even with 4 fans as push/pull. Now imagine a tdp of 500-550w. We will have a hard time to cool this. And if I read the TDPs of Alder Lake my new 1000w PSU will be underpowered for the next gen. That’s a little bit crazy…. Edited September 5, 20214 yr by swiesma
