Great.  Anyone using Ryan's Mooney liveries after SU5?

I'm using them fine...though one guy said my Seminole liveries are causing CTD.  Ive got no idea why.  I think it was the Seminole update to cause that and not SU5 because mine were all working.

Are you saying my Mooney liveries are inop now after this Carenado update?

Who?  That Ryan Butterworth character?  No, I tried a few but they were all pants!  😆

In all seriousness, I get home in about two hours.  I will download the MSFS update (hopefully ), update the Mooney, and I will be trying this lovely example afterwards.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Yep, that is a good one and no problems with it for me.

And YES.. The spoilers deploy again !  I have them assigned to my left F2 switch on my Gladiator NXT. It's been unused the last few weeks, ha.

No!  Not at all.  I was asking before attempting to use them is all.  I have not flown the Mooney in months.  Was getting mid-route GNS freeze ups.  Time to try again after a fresh post-SU5 & HF MSFS reinstall and this Carenado update.

Hmm, in my case, the Mooney update crashed my sim and uninstalled the Mooney..

Had to reinstall it from scratch   😉

Now lets take it for a flight..

@Bert Pieke

Bert-  I've flown it a couple of times, and I'd be interested in your thoughts re. CHT and engine idle when you've had a chance.  Hoping the Waco update is also meaningful.

Chasing the sun out of St. Barts... lovely!

The Waco is indeed blossoming and is miles better in re. ground handling.  I do wish they'd get the MSFS loading and CG correct. I've always loved the way she flies, and this was my only @Carenado purchase in P3D.  She's even lovelier now in MSFS.

The Mooney too has most of its issues sorted.

As a sometimes strident voice asking Carenado to improve it's MSFS lineup, I felt it obligatory that I give honor where due- BZ Carenado & thanks!

Seems to be flying OK... CHT is in the green.. but the EGT green zone is way below where it ends up when I lean the engine..

Ha! Stop the worries about social responsibility (green zone) and just enjoy the speed.... LOL!

Is there any way you can confirm them for SU5 then on flightsim.to so they don't get taken down?  Lovely pic by the way!

Great, she's back working again. I really missed her, she's more speedy than the C172 but still appropriate for sightseeing.

I wouldn't dare to judge the flight model but it didn't feel too wrong to me compared to when I flew her last (was that months ago.. or years?)

Kind regards, Michael

I am still having issues with the fuel selector. It starts on OFF (although the engine is running), and I can't operate it. Fuel is coming from left tank.

Also, electric fuel pump makes a very loud noise and causes the engine to stall.

Finally, engine is stalling when idle.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I operate the fuel selector using SPAD.neXt and it works as before. I had it off at the beginning (ramp - C&D) and I switched it on using the button I had assigend in the profile.

Kind regards, Michael
