Worked yesterday for me, not working today at least in Europe where I am doing my FSE flights today. My guess it is server side.

I guess I then just have to wait some days to see if the problem sponaeously disappears.

Sometimes and sometimes not, it doesnt make a difference.

Oh but I believe it can.  When you save a flight plan from MSFS it saves (2) versions.  a .flt and a .pln.  One of those two when later loaded back in includes some conditions present when the save was made.  I believe it locks out changes to the time and weather and I believe neither can be changed once the flight is loaded.  I believe it is the .pln version of the flight plan but someone will correct me if that is incorrect.

Also not sure about this, but once changes to the time and weather are locked out, they may stay locked out until you restart MSFS.  I say may because again I am not 100% sure.  Loading the .flt version of the flight plan does not do this, but it does not save current MSFS settings relative to the flight.  I reboot my system and start MSFS fresh before each flight.

I NEVER load a flight or previous plan.  I simply go to desired airport/ parking spot, click on LIVE for time and weather and do NOT receive any weather data.  I can also click on the box to add any weather preset and this does NOT change any look to the environment. Rarely had any issues until last week's update.

I have this as well... been having it for two days now.  Tried the usual logging out of xbox then back....tried setting clear skies, waiting then flipping back to live.

Let's hope it means they're improving the weather issues on their end.

I am having the same no live weather issue worked yesterday but not today.  As I have remarked previously it seems to get the metar date OK but nothing gets loaded into the sim.  Well I guess it is back to REX weather until this gets sorted. Never had this problem before the last update.  Don't know what to make of FS2020 it has so much going for it but there is an awful lot that is just plain broken and it just seems to get more broken after most updates.

KSEA to PANC - no weather - sigh...its the every other broken update routine

No live weather here too, it's a server problem.

I definitely think it is. Had none for the past two days, in any location, but this morning it returned. Haven't checked since, but it's probably offline again. Symptomatic of Asobo trying to adjust things on the server/data side since launch of the GOTY update, I would guess, if not even prior to launch.

Crazy... I've had no issues with weather for the last several days.  Everything (except for the internal METAR report system) was working well.  Conditions were spot-on for cloud cover, winds and visibility.  I've been flying in South America (Peru, Columbia and Brazil).

I attempted several times during today's flight over Brazil to access the METAR reporting system - all I got was "no data available".  This was strange, as my normal METAR reporting tools did give me info for my destination AND the weather actually matched that report when I made my approach...

To be clear: it is not only that I do not receive Live Weather. I also cannot select any of the default weather presets when in the cockpit (and they are not live). And I cannot change the time once I am in the cockpit.

A strange thought: I also had problems getting online data, that was due to modification of the host file by the GoogleMaps mod. I removed the two lines in the host file. And now I am getting the online data (Bing Maps, photogrammetry). Could that have something to do with it? Or completely unrelated?

Are you beginning your flights from loading a saved flight plan?

No I don’t start from a saved flight plan, however the last couple startups weather has been working now so not too sure what’s up.

This bug is very annoying as sometimes you get weather then you shut down the sim and start again and it doesn't work - back to no weather!

I completed two flights today, each over 3 hours. No live weather for the first flight and for the first half of the second flight.  Then it mysteriously started working.

Same here trying from LEMD to LFPO.  Reported the correct METAR, but 1013 and 16 on the ground instead of 1010 and 1.  Have resorted to REX (already owned)
