A lot of out dated products and unless I'm mistaken it seems the "normal" retail prices have been increased and then the 30% discount is being applied.

Unfortunately, I don't have much confidence in respect of Aerosoft's sales policies.

Agreed, can't tell if normal prices have been hiked, but 30% off on previous generation flight sim is not enough to tempt me.

Since P3D is not your sim, why bother at all?

Only thing that would interest me are A2A or Xtreme or PMDG. P3D Is still and will remain my sim although Xplane 12 is a possibility in the future. A2A has spoiled me and I want that level of real from everything now.

I've been waiting for a good sale on Zurich and Frankfurt V2 for p3d v5 and both have the discounted price as advertised. Don't know about the other products prices.

Did they increase the regular prices for US sales only?? ...or only for dollar sales? If I go to their website as a European visitor, the regular € prices seem to be as always, if I remember correctly, at least most of them. If they really did, a very cheesy trial to push those P3d v4 products - ...especially as there is no other company that suddenly talked so bad about that still very capable sim (IMO), that they praised to high heaven only few years before themselves.

However, still a lot of outdated sceneries (from the beginning), which are too expensive even at 30% off - compared to what is offered by some other developers. They insist on the attitude that P3d users don't care for the price if they want something (they actually said so)... well, I only think so when the quality is really convincing! I would love to have a good P3d4 Ben Gurion scenery, for example, but honestly, look at those pictures... naah, not even for 18€! And I've already picked the few jewels (more or less) such as EDDK for example in the past sales.

I can't speak for anyone else, but, I'm still flying the Twin Otter in P3D v5 (w/the RXP 530 mod) and this aircraft has held up very well (considering it's already 8 years old!)...still a joy to fly.

If you don't have it, $25 is a great deal! If you already have the FlyTampa St Maarten scenery, this one is a "must have" to practice those St Barts and Saba approaches.

I'm not seeing any evidence of that...the before-discount prices look like what they've been all along.

And there are many new sceneries on sale too. For example, Liepaja, A330 etc. 

Really thinking about the A330. But since I am a Boeing man, I am on the fence. Perhaps the 787 would suit my purpose better?

My cousin is a big PMDG 777 guy. Got him to buy the A330 and he loves it! I got it too and it’s a good aircraft, especially on sale.

Thanks! I have both. In the air, the Twin Otter was really nice. But on the ground, it was a nightmare. Plus a few smaller things like the non-removable yoke and the a missing integration of an advanced GPS (at that time, there was no mod already, at least not for my GPS's). That made me removing it again after all. I'm hoping for a better MSFS version.

I'm not too happy with the A330 either ...always had any other problem there, first with the flaps, and at the moment with the throttle assignments... I just have bad luck with their airplanes anyhow. But I know a lot of people are happy with it, and that's good.

IMO the A330, like the other Aerosoft Busses, is perfectly serviceable and an interesting diversion from the Boeing style of flight control/management.  It doesn't have  much system depth compared to some of the Boeing options out there, and like you I lean to Boeing.  But you might want to pick up an Aerosoft Bus while on sale just to sample the alternative.  No knock on the 787, i enjoy that as well.

No it has removable yoke. Extra GPS - I do not know as I do not use it.

If you have the other buses for P3D, you'll do better by waiting the sale to be over. The bundle discount is even deeper than this sale. SInce I love the A330, I only regret having waited so long for this bird, instead of purchasing it as soon as I got into P3D.
