December 8, 20214 yr Looks nice from the video. I wonder how fps is? Also looking forward to some reviews. December 9, 20214 yr I picked it up tonight. It's actually really good, especially for the price. The performance is better than the default handcrafted LAX to boot. The modelling is really nice and the texturing is far better than FeelThere's previous efforts. Overall I think it's a great upgrade if you fly into LAX regularly. I am thoroughly satisfied! Does it match the current real life layout? How is the FPS ? December 9, 20214 yr I watched the trailer days ago but as I'm not a specialist of the LAX layout didn't notice much differences with the default Asobo handmade version. Can someone point me to some (important) differences? PS : I'm just enjoying LAX because of the Mini Route or the Special Flight Rules VFR 😉 Edited December 9, 20214 yr by vbazillio Vincent B. That's how this scenery looks to me...

There are a lot of subtle differences that make a big difference if you fly into LAX regularly. The terminal buildings and remote structures are far more accurate, as are the landside areas if you care about that! The markings and overall ambiance is just a lot more convincing, IMHO. I fly into LAX all the time so it was a no-brainer purchase for me. If you don't fly in regularly, you probably don't need it. Edited December 9, 20214 yr by liamp51 Former Child, Current Adult
December 9, 20214 yr I don't see how it's even up for debate...it's leaps and bounds better than default Asobo handcrafted KLAX. Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10 MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled) 8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled) 32GB DDR4 3000 Ram 500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2
December 10, 20214 yr To me, it doesn't look all that much better than the Asobo default and especially for that price.
December 10, 20214 yr I mean it's not bad for 8 bucks and change. It's a decent update to the default, but transitional to a properly built LAX with inside modeling etc. Hopefully some of the big guns are already planning it. Jacek G. December 10, 20214 yr Used to fly there almost every week. (BTW for those not familiar with the operations at this airport....99.9% of the time you are landing west, outside runways, 24R and 25L. If you're a freightdawg, go for 25L as the freight ramp(s) are just left off the runway.) In about 100 trips there...I have NEVER landed or took off East. Sadly if the winds are calm in MSFS, AI always takes off and lands the wrong way. 😞 (Happened in P3D too....I know you can fix that, never did) Anyway...really like the scenery. Much better than default, but not as detailed as I'd like it (but very very good). Wish FSDT would get theirs out....flew into it virtually more times than I can recall. Frames seem better than default too as others have noted. One important note if you're not one to read the install instructions....uninstall the default KLAX 1st or you'll have double markings and bad performance, naturally. And probably not a bad idea to reboot your PC as well before installing this KLAX. Worth the money if you're a regular here...and I certainly am. One of my bread-n-butter routes in the DC-6 is KLAX-KLAS and back. Marvelous and scenic route! 🙂 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

One of my bread-n-butter routes in the DC-6 is KLAX-KLAS and back. Marvelous and scenic route! 🙂 This is because most of the time wind direction is inland. Nevertheless, when winds are calm and it's ok with air traffic control flow, airplanes may take off eastbound to save fuel. Note during Santa Ana wind airplanes at LAX take off runway 7L, 7R and so on. I went to seminar with LAX TRACON supervisor he was tell me horros stories how things get chaotic during santa ana wind condition.
