Not to my knowledge. It’s rare for LM to liaise with users since they provide no official support. This type of thing is extremely rare.

Perhaps one of the beta testers (like Rob A.) who has access to LM staff could ask them if they mind that the entire modified shader file is okay to post here. If they say yes, that would close this part of the discussion. and be a win-win for all sides.

It would be like me giving Hollis an OPS-A and asking him to tell me in 10 mins whats the minimum flight time required for to augament a 3 man crew to extend an FDP and why.   In short he wouldnt be able to do it, (neither would most people on here) he wouldnt know what im on about, because its not his field of expertise.  Neither is amending XMLS/FXH for the average person. 

I swear these people have zero interpersonal skills I really do.   They spend all their time writing code like this.

It is not the same at all.

It is just following an instruction.

Locate, delete, replace, close down start up.

Not difficult to understand for the average person on here. (I did it in about 3 minutes and I am well past 80yo)

Your example of  an OPS-A requires a knowledge of what it actually means. Nothing is required here except to follow instructions.

Why fix something that isn't broken in your version of P3D?

I’ve always avoided changing that slider to anything other than zero. I was getting a fairly major stutter every 7 seconds in an earlier version of P3D and it was that very modest setting causing it.

It’s similar to the other ‘bugs’ in the ESP engine. Ai traffic behaviour, Prime Meridian stutter-fest and the road traffic. The only one they’ve fixed was the runway ends bug where you couldn’t have only one end open / closed for takeoff or landing. And that took around 9 years to find and fix!

But on the bright side it’s very stable and fps overall is improving.

Regarding the traffic issue... I unticked all of the traffic boxes in the Orbx Vector tool. After that traffic did not seem to be as problematic. Maybe someone else could test that.

I use the lights package from the name not allowed developer and have the same reduction in FPS from using road lighting as you all.
