The MCDU on an iPad will be a nice stop gap until Skalarki gets their MCDU hardware working with FBW.

I’ve never used the fbw a320, but this feature intrigued me and I decided to learn the A320. I flew it all day yesterday using this mcdu feature and must say it works fanatastic…And a big thank you to the fbw team for working on this aircraft as a whole, very impressive!! Just wanted to give my thanks to the team!!

The FBW team is outstanding. All they do works perfectly.

And now this remote MCDU that works flawlessly.

This plane becomes better day after day.

I would be interested to see if a receipt printer would work.  You can get wifi ones I believe so I would buy one if it works.

I know some people bought receipt printers to use with the FS Labs Airbus when they added that functionality, (you could also print off your take off and landing performance through ACARS), I’d be interested to hear from the FBW team if there’s any reason a receipt printer wouldn’t work (formatting?).

They can be bought pretty cheaply on Amazon…the one a bunch of people settled on for FS Labs was around CDN$60 I think.

I have a serial Epson TM-T88111 Printer receipt working with the MCDU, just need to sort the Font/Paper size out but all seems Okay.

My IPad however is not working remotely over the WiFi. All the text is being shown in one line top left. Works just great on an Android tablet and phone. Not sure what the Ipad issue is as others say it is working fine. Maybe just an old Ipad.

Paid money in the past for this capability and here it is provided free.

One question if I may, i would like to start the server with the sim with Addon-Linker, but I need to first programme the advanced settings and I have no idea where this has to be done, could you please elaborate a little bit, I have seen the few lines that need to be added on your site, I could simply copy and paste these lines, but where would that be please?

Thanks a million for a fantastic job! There are times when I wonder how a team of so many developers, working separately, can assemble such a complex project in small installments without major bug - if any?!... Really impressive.

Use the MSFS "exe.xml". I have and works fine.

If anyone could recommend a wifi enabled receipt printer? Most of the thermal printers are only bluetooth and my simming machine does not have it. Wifi thermal printers are in the +$300 range that I can find on amazon.... Thanks for any input....

Sorry I cant help you there. I have Steam and it's located in my default MSFS installation location but I believe you are correct or in the Appdata folder for store version.

Does anyone use the MCDU on a Android Tablet ( in my case a Samsung Galaxy Tab ) ? and it does work ?

I am trying and don`t get it to work at the moment using MS Edge on the Tablet.

Setting http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8125 where xxx.. is my IP Adress in the Edge Browser on the Tablet it comes up with some  SSL_Protocol_ERROR..

Can`t find the Problem so any help would be fine, my time is synchronized and the server.exe is setted in the Windows firewall.

Also if i use the MCDU on the Local PC ( where MSFS is on ) it works very well, but I would like to have it on the Tablet because of the touchscreen what i not have on my monitors from the PC..

Open it on your iPad using Safari then press the "Share" button just to the right of the address bar and select "Add to Home Screen" and it should use the entire screen. Be sure to update your iPad OS.

Love this feature, been using it for over a month.

@Watsi - Any chance that the MCDU can be configured for a dark cockpit?  I am sure it is on the "To do" list but my iPad using the MCDU in day mode is really bright.

Try chrome browser. Working well on my galaxy tab.
