The tech developer actually owns the plane that is being modeled.. not sure what a "video" would add.. but by all means you can take whatever time you like.. I am sure that reviews will appear 🙂

Well, apparently from the user "Ark" stated that the plane will be in a beta upon purchase? So yeah, I think a video showcasing its performance is important before purchase. I am not going to buy a plane in beta. I already have done that with NextGen EMB and its pretty much still in beta. I am not trying to be rude or skeptical I just don't want to spend my money (40 or 50) and have a plane that is unproven. Again, I will wait for videos. If you purchase it immediately when its released, then great. All the power to you. You do you.

If we exclude pilot error, then no.  😉

Agreed. I also bought the Nextgen EMB and have been disappointed in the state it was released in and still currently is.

Yup, hopefully this plane lives up to the favorable press that's already out there.

I'll wait for a few independent reviewers (as opposed to "previewers") to look it over.

Apparently, there are people who disagree with us on this one.

Waiting until after the Beta stage is certainly a perfectly reasonable approach. I will just say that if you talk to anyone who owns a Flysimware product, the situation you described above with the Nextgen EMB never happens with Flysimware.

To each their own.

On my case i disagree on this based on the reputation of Flysimware. I have been a customer since the FSX days and they stand behind their products. I enjoyed long hours behind their learjet before and they continued to improve it continuously. Some developers release something and just move on after that, leaving the users to deal with the mess. This isnt the case with Flysimware.

I don't feel confident to buy some developer's products even after the final release. In Flysimware's case i'm willing to buy even an alpha product.

Nothing wrong with waiting to see, but for me...insta-buy. Flysimware has an impeccable track record for support and updates.

I just hope the Flight Model and sounds are superb. 1,5 years into MSFS it must be allowed to have high expectations for a $40 dollar plane.

There's still plenty of bugs from Asobo that developers are fighting as we speak.  The sim is still very very new.  I think we've all forgotten that FSX wasn't stable until SP2/Acceleration.  There were very few quality addons even after SP2 came out.  Clearly we're starting to get them in this sim though (Kodiak, DC6 etc), and this one...

Yes, I agree. My point was more that the bar has been raised quite a bit since the sim was released. As you say the Kodiak and JustFlight have shown what is possible with todays SDK.

Somewhat looking forward to this and hope it's fairly decent - Have enjoyed some of Flysimwares previous products in other sims (Falcon etc) so it will be interesting to see how this one turns out!

The sounds were recorded from the actual C414AW that the Flysimware tech advisor owns. And to answer a sound question that I expect will come up (because it surprised me), "no, the pilot can not hear the gear move from the VC ( except maybe for a very slight "clunk" when it retracts if you listen really closely).  So good thing there are lights for that!  😀
