I will just say that if you talk to anyone who owns a Flysimware product, the situation you described above with the Nextgen EMB never happens with Flysimware. To each their own. Al Yeah, if their reputation is truly that good from past experiences then sure, its still a maybe. I must say....I was completely anti-Carenado from past experiences but their Seneca surprised me. I really like it and fly it as often as I do the Kodia, JF Arrows and PMDG. So, some developers can change. It looks like FlySimWare has a good reputation overall. NextGen EMB 110 is still not worth the price listed at 30. It still sounds "off" with sounds clipping in/out, the AP tries to dive half the time, its flight model is one of the slowest but twitchiest planes I've flown. People say the JayDee mod helps but I have shelved that plane. No updates for a while besides the smallish "service pack 1" update. It only happened after several of us complained often. Here my thoughts even though it sounds petty to me. I see the Milviz 310 and there is no price listed but....but....there are several videos of it flying around, approaches, landing, tutorial videos. There is a difference with my though process. This is opposed to the 414 videos that are typically lower resolution and darker. Maybe I am being petty but I want to see more before buying something. The next gen emb was entirely my own fault. I watched a few reviews and it looked ok at first. Nah. BIg mistake. Hehe....you are trying to talk yourself into buying it...as are we all without blatantly admitting we're new airplane junkies and want to believe this will be the one that will rock the market. 🙂 We've been both rewarded and disappointed thus far in the aircraft that have been released, and all basically agree on what planes fall into what categories. In this day and age with all the access to previews/reviews, we are really spoiled in relation to the purchasing risks we had to take back in the early days of simming when we actually had physical paper magazines guiding our buying decisions, and even bought sim titles off a shelf in brick and mortar establishments (COMPUSA, Frys, etc) , LOL. Now its live Twitch streams, asking the streamer to show a particular feature you're interested in, and if you decide to buy, its a few clicks of the mouse and it's bought and installed on your machine. Anyway, regarding this plane. I've had FSW planes in the past and generally enjoyed them. I regard them as a good dev, so I will most likely buy this one even though I rarely have to time to fly with all the beta teams I'm currently testing (and painting) for. If for nothing else to support a dev who's given me enjoyable products in the past (I had the Lear and MU2...liked them both..I may have had others...been a long time and I'm getting old LOL) Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

You might have me there. I seem to talk myself into buying anything. Id vs Ego. Id wins a lot. Oh, and I still remember the days of getting everything Fry's. I got my first saitek yoke/quadrant from them. Good to hear there are held in such high regard. March 24, 20224 yr I have some stick time in a 414 but that's going way back to about 1977 when I was a 15 year old student pilot. The aircraft was owned by Gilbert Ortega, a Native American Jewelry magnate and the aircraft was based out of Gallup, NM. I took every opportunity I could to get right seat time and got to hand fly it quite often, usually on trips from KGUP to KABQ and back. Marsh Aviation was a flight school and charter flight company that operated the aircraft for Mr. Ortega. There was one memorable trip from Gallup to Las Vegas, full house in back and it was, shall we say, a very festive atmosphere back there as flights to Vegas usually are. After we landed at Las Vegas, I was waiting around on the private ramp by the 414 and there was a stunning looking bare metal transient Boeing 707 parked nearby getting prepped for a flight. I remember being green with envy as I watched the Captain as he walked out to that beauty. There was no livery on it, just a tail number and gleaming aluminum. It's just one of those things that I'll never forget. I'm really looking forward to flying this new FSW 414 as she looks like she's been given a lot of love! No telling how many thousands of hours of hard work have been sunk into this bird. Congrats to FSW and I hope it's a smashing success for them!

March 24, 20224 yr Well no one has to arm wrestle me into buying or not buying or show me a review video by some dude with a nasal brit accent (and I mean that in the kindest way to our valued reviewer community but for some reason they do all kinda sound the same to me save for the dulcet tones of AvAngel) 😁. I've already seen, read and heard enough between personal experience with how FSW's prior release (Widgeon) got so much TLC and nice improvements / touches after initial release, the video snips, sounds and many detailed screenies plus now knowing it was a labor of love from someone who owns the real thing... I am positively optimistic and excited to be all-in on this one, looking forward to the 6PM PST Go-Live time. Edited March 24, 20224 yr by Stoopy "That's what" - She
March 24, 20224 yr Looking forward to the release today though it won’t come until close to bedtime here so it will have to be a Friday night first flight for me. March 24, 20224 yr After downloading the manual, I'm not sure what to expect. The images on the website show gauges on the instrument panels without aging as did the pre-release videos. But the manual shows a mix of images with aged gauges and images with pristine ones. Personally, I would like the aircraft to look like it just came from the factory, but I seem to be in the minority on that. Guess I'll find out how it looks after I purchase it today. I can live with the aging as long as it's not overdone, but don't really care for it. I remember purchasing the MILVIZ 737 and ended up not flying it because it looked it just came from an aircraft graveyard, all rusted on the inside. Edited March 24, 20224 yr by jfwharton

March 24, 20224 yr I have FSW's Falcon 50 in P3D and really like the custom gauges. I consider that FSW's hallmark. This C414 with 3DReach doing the artwork -- well -- that is just a perfect combination if you ask me. This could be a really great plane. Even so it's a beta release so I'm tempering my expectations a little. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
