January 17, 20224 yr I have no problem buying each 737 variant separately but it would have been more interesting to integrate as it had been done before to add a base-package to 60$ and expansion-package for 25/30$. Waiting 6 weeks for each variant is a bit frustrating. After all, a 737 will remain a 737. As long as we have fun, that's what matters!

Big engines on smaller lighter airframe- better power to weight ratio than the -800. Being a shorter coupled design than the stretched out -800, it's more responsive and fun to fly.

January 17, 20224 yr New pricing model looks good to me too. I typically buy just a base model without any extensions. The only exception was the 767-F extension from FlightFactor team (XPlane 11). As for the blocker issue PMDG having, not sure why Mr. Randazzo won’t go into details about it, unless he’s legally bound by a Partnership agreement with Microsoft. For me personally the 737 release from PMDG will be a huge milestone for the MSFS. I also think that waiting 100 days for the issue to be resolved, seems like a very long time. MSFS has a really great community of users and 3rd party developers and there is a chance that somebody already faced the issue or will face it soon. Sharing the details will be beneficial for everybody, the community, so they know what to expect and the PMDG team themselves. Microsoft and Asobo really want to make MSFS a better platform for everybody. I was able to witness it myself when I got a huge performance increase in 2021, never expected my poor old 1070 GTX to get me 30 fps in VR to be honest. But with this huge backlog and new features, priorities may change rapidly and, I think, we as a flightsim community can help Microsoft with tracking what's really important at the moment. I think a great example of it is a Chinese Localization feature request. It got into the feature request list unexpectedly and has one of the highest votes https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/chinese-localization/126150 at the moment. Even though I don’t speak Chinese I’m really happy that the Chinese speakers were able to unite and get that many votes and as result will get the Chinese language support soon. So, If Mr. Randazzo ever gets to the point where he thinks that his typical communication channels won’t help him, he can use the following public channels, provided there are no legal restrictions for him and his team: An issue request https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/bugs-and-issues/200 A feature request https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/self-service/wishlist/163 There is already one from the community regarding PMDG: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/support-pmdg-for-the-737ng3-release/292457/30 Live Q&A is soon, he can create a topic here https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/community/dev-q-a-open-for-questions/304 There is already one from the community with mention of PMDG issue: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/what-is-the-status-on-sim-functionality-for-complex-airliners/489682 Personally, I would be glad to support Mr. Randazzo and PMDG team in any way I can, but the problem is I can only write something ‘Please help Mr. Randazzo with his blocker issue’ somewhere on MSFS forums which makes no sense.

January 17, 20224 yr I don't want to beat a dead dog, but it's things like this one here that made me lose faith in Asobo / MS: For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
