I'm so exhausted of this sim

We need more flying boats to make this sim great!

I'm taking a break from MSFS whilst I fly about space in Starfield, it's good to get away every once in awhile and come back fresh another day.

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

^ Yeah those specs are good enough to play Starfield in all its locations. Not everyone can do that.

Is it any good?

If you enjoy a lukewarm Bethesda adventure, with writing on the level of really mediocre fan fiction, a game with constant load screens and a space travel section that is just one big glorified fast travel menu, all wrapped in a very inconsistent looking game with some shocking performance compared to how it looks, then it's great.

I do that too but with another FO4 run 😄. A game full of bugs and dated graphics but such a great  gameplay !

What I have seen in the SF reviews seems far from the Elder Scrolls or FO  type of game .

Tell us what you feel about it !

I don't think I'll be firing up MSFS 2020 anymore. It gave me 3 years of enjoyment. It's time for the sequel.

What with Phantom Liberty coming out soon and Starfield - plenty of games to keep me busy until MSFS 2024 releases.

This was supposed to be a Day 1 purchase for me. But I'm glad I held off. Will be waiting to see what the mod community is going to do with the game.

The mods take it from a three star to a four, but now Bethesda need to take it to a four and a half.

As for being so exhausted with this sim, I definitely am.  I was in it for nearly seven and a half hours yesterday.  I need a break!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Yes loving it, by no means perfect, some questionable things but overall there's a ton of stuff to do and it's refreshing to have a game released with decent content without Early Access nonsense.

I'm over 24hrs playing in a week and still barely scratched the surface yet! It's not everyone's cup of tea of course, but if you like Bethesda style games then you'll be in for a treat.

As predicted they're already making it better, visual mods, Inventory UI mods are a must for me already. But the base game, as above, is certainly well worth the price tag.

It's gonna be one that grows with user mods just like Skyrim did, give it a year or two and it'll be an even better game than it is now.

That'll be the last post I make on it before the moderators have a whinge 😂

Cities skylines II for me. Love a bit of city building.

They were right:  MSFS'ers are just a bunch of gamers after all😁
