January 24, 20224 yr The snow covering at airports makes it difficult to taxi. I can't see the taxi lines nor the edges of the taxiway. Night time is like Ray Charles trying to taxi. Is this normal? Gnacino
January 24, 20224 yr My "workaround" for this is to use the taxi ribbon assist. I also use the mod (can be found on flightsim.to) that makes the taxi assist arrows much smaller than default so it does not kill the immersion of taxiing around the airport.

Landed at CYUL last night and once off the runway, had to turn the clock back to day light and clear weather to see where I'm going. The field was all white, no taxi lites no green center lites. January 24, 20224 yr I just landed at PAMR, Merrill Field in Anchorage, Alaska, and I see the taxi ways as I usually do.

January 24, 20224 yr Well at some small airports I can't even make out the runway. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

Taxi lines disappear under the snow on the default airport. I can make out the taxi lights but Asobo puts those everywhere. I don't see anything specifically mentioned regarding taxi lines in snow and none of the pictures were taken after a snow. $15.00+, I'll wait for a sale. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
January 25, 20224 yr I use the REX airport enhancement but still have plenty of snow on my local runway at Priest River 1S6 using Live WX .

January 25, 20224 yr If you have Bijan's 4 Season pack, v7.00+, there is an option called "Snow Mask" which removes snow cover from runways and taxiways, as well as surrounding roads. -Bob
